This is located just off the A30 right next to a converted ex-railway path. All very flat cycling terrain apart from the optional excursion off the path to Meldon Reservoir which has a steep hill.
For an interesting place to stop off, go down the track by the side of the Sourton Church/Graveyard which is the only church immediately adjacent to the track (can't miss it). This is mentioned in their brochure and there is the very interesting Highwayman Inn there (careful crossing the road in front!).
Also in the brochure is the suggestion that cyclist can visit Lydford Gorge. This is the maximum cycle distance and Lydford Gorge is additionally only for energetic walkers so I would check out both attractions before trying to do both. We did these on different days and it was quite enough.
