We stayed in room 3 which allows you to bring your dog. Room was ok but could do with a refurbishment. Carpet was dirty and fridge had broken door shelf where you put your milk so had to use veg rack at bottom. Kitchen was fully equiped. You could only get wifi when you went into the bedroom which was ok with it being free. The views were amazing. The car parking was a nightmare because some guests had more than one car but there was a buider working on making extra spaces. The manager was lovely and helpful, a credit to Devoncourt. We had a lovely stay, great value for money.

We spent Christams here. Our flat had fantasticsea view despite the rain. We sat at our table and watched the rough sea breaking over the Breakwater in the warm and dry. We used the free internet at lot. We will come again A & D

We stayed in Devoncourt again this year and it was again fantastic.

The views are still to die for, the two bedroom flats had been painted since our stay a year ago and one of the three flats we had this year was a one bedroomed one and that was even better that the two bedroomed ones. The flats have all the basics that you need, full sized cooker, full sized fridge etc...........

Al who was on site most days was brilliant and could not have been more helpful. The prices are good value and do I feel reflect that these are not brand new 5* luxury apartments but for a good old fashioned family holiday they are just fine!

We have already booked again for a week in the summer next year! (and will probably book for the year after that while we are there....... wonder how many visits till we are called 'one of the regulars')

Dirty pillows and duvets,
Strong smell of dogs. Dog's are supposed to only be allowed on the ground floor rubbish!! They were staying upstairs too. When I asked the manager he told me that they were regulars and so they were allowed to bring their dogs.
No wonder the place stinks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot thank you enough for the fabulous holiday I had in Devoncourt this year.
It was everything I was hoping for and expecting. Especially that view - I would debate as to whether there is a better one in the world. Other reviews have mentioned the basic interiors - the flats are very very clean and clear from non essential decoration that would distract from that view. If you want a base in Devon with a balcomy and an amazing view with clean and clear air and environment then this is the place for you. It would be possible to sit on the balcony all day and not get bored. There is always something going on, from lifeboat call outs to fishermen and their catches. Yet it is also a fantastic base from which to explore the rest of Torbay and the South Hams or a stop off on the way to cornwall.

We stayed at Devoncourt this year which is the second time we have stayed at the flats.
Although the flats are very basic in both design and facilities you do have all you need to spend a pleasent week. We did notice a marked run down look to the flats siince our last stay which was a number of years ago, and they do need a lick of paint and a good modernisation. The same carpets and decor as we remembered from nearly severn years ago.
Having said all that, it is the view you are paying for which is what must be the greatest view in Brixham. I have included pictures of both the view from Devoncourt and some interia and exteria shots of the flats themselves to show the basic flat you are paying for.
As I have said dont expect a 5 star holiday flat, you get the basics and thats it. No Sky TV , no top of the range kitchen, no whirlpool bath or hotel pool. Just some dated furniture and well used pots and pans............ But a view to die for !
The whole family sat happily on the flats balcony every evening watching the boats come and go from the harbour and even the lifeboat racing out on a call.

I recomend Devoncourt to anyone who wants a no frills holiday to Brixham with a wonderfull view, but if the management of Devoncourt read this then please take some time and spend some money to modernise the flats as they are begining to look a little run down which is the only complaint I have.
