“Excellent and very good value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

Another great stay at the Harbour View. Stayed in room 10 - right at the top. Actually liked the fact that we had our own bathroom opposite (felt like I was at home! Excellent views of the harbour and it's a fabulous location for exploring the town centre and access to the walks in the area. As usual great welcome and lovely breakfasts. Great value too. We are planning to go back again next year. Would highly recommend.

Room Tip: rooms at the front over fabulous views of the harbour

My husband and I have just returned from a short break staying at the Harbour View, Brixham. We stayed in room 5 the first evening and then had the opportunity to move to room 7 for the next two nights which has a magnificent view of the harbour. The rooms were spotlessly clean and spacious. Breakfast was lovely, my husband enjoyed a full English breakfast every morning, whereas I enjoyed having scrambled eggs twice and one full English. Great to have a free parking space and wi-fi. Even though we didn't see much of Steve or Stuart when we did they were both very friendly and Steve recommended several places to eat in Brixham. We will definitely be returning!

Room Tip: Room 5, twin beds at the back of the B & B, very spacious and quiet. Room 7, double bed facing...

My husband and I live in Kefalonia, Greece, and have recently returned to UK for a 5 week stay to celebrate our Golden Wedding anniversary with family and friends. We decided that we would incorporate a 5/6 day holiday whilst back, which ended up being a nostalgia tour of many places which have been special to us over the last 50 years or so. This tour included several hotels and B&B's at Lynton and Lynmouth, Mevagissy, and Brixham. We booked all accommodation in February and decided that Harbour View would suit us perfectly, it did not fail, the tasteful decor of our room and the dining room , the views from our room, and the attentiveness of Stuart was spot on. We could fault nothing and breakfast was cooked to perfection. We would have no hesitation recommending Harbour View, and hope to make a return visit.

We had a very nice three days here as a mini break. The room was lovely with little extras like nice biscuits and wine glasses provided after they realised we had some wine! We stayed in Room 2 which had a very nice view of the harbour and town
Very good recommendations from their booklet re places to eat.

Very tasty breakfast and delicious yoghurts. Nice service from the Spanish waiter .
Overall a very good choice.

Room Tip: Room 2 had a good view.

We had a lovely relaxing weekend in Brixham. Harbour View is the perfect location, and thankfully only one set of the high steps from the harbour up to the road.

We were in room 10 which was a fantastic view. There are other rooms on this level. Not en-suite bathroom, but we didn't find this a problem as it was just opposite our room door and a lovely new clean one.

A fridge for guests to keep food in - lovely clotted cream for example!

Relaxing lounge where lovely breakfast is served.

Lovely hospitality. Thank you Stuart and Steven.

Joe/Karen

Room Tip: On the same level as room 10 which is up in the eves.

My wife found this place for us to stay in Brixham by doing lots of internet research. It was a great place to stay, we had a parking space on the front for the duration of our stay and we didn't need to move the car once as there was so much to do and see in walking distance from the B&B.

We stopped the car outside the B&B to unload and were greeted on the doorstep.

The room was lovely and the view from the window of the Harbour was breathtaking. To the point that I sat at the window for hours on end just taking in the scenery. I even did a timelapse video which you can watch on my youtube as below..

The breakfasts was cooked to order and was really nice and set me and my wife up for the day.

We both really enjoyed our few nights at the Harbour view and we are already looking forwards to going back in the future
