“Great Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2012

Linda and Nigel were great hosts and looked after us really well. Great brekkies and good tips on places to visit. Kingsacre was fabulously well looked after and our room was a delight.
If we're ever back in this neck of the woods then Kingsacre is where we'd hope to stay.

Room Tip: We had the Ocean room - it was lovely!!

Our daughter found Kingsacre on the internet for us, somewhere to stay when she was celebrating her 30th birthday nearby. We were made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Linda and Nigel were lovely hosts and the rooms were all beautifully decorated and furnished in Cath Kidston. The breakfast was lovely and the tea/coffee facilities in our room were good: everything was good!

Stayed for 4 nights. Were made very welcome by Linda and Nigel who were most helpful. It was very clean with great decor. The breakfasts were very good which were cooked to order. Perfect for the Tarka trail and Saunton Sands beach. There were some nice restaurants in Braunton as well.
Thank you for a lovely stay would like to return one day.

Stayed here for a golf trip over the Easter weekend and was made very welcome. The room was excellent as was the breakfast.

Linda and Nigel offered advice on everything from dining out to the weather. Poor Nigel was more dissapointed than us with the weather! Great location for the local golf course which is first class.

This is an excellent place to stay and I would definitely book again!

My husband and I have just returned from a 5 night stay at Kingsacre. We picked this B&B on the basis of the excellent reviews and it more than lived up to expectations. My husband was playing in the English Mid Amateur golf championship at Saunton Golf Course and we couldn't have found a more ideal location. The course was less than a 5 minute drive from the B&B whilst I could walk into the village in 10 minutes. Seeing my husband return from golf after a day of torrential rain, Linda and Nigel immediately offered to dry out his waterproofs, charge up his golf battery and even put his soaking wet golf gloves in their airing cupboard to dry out! They let him use their garage to lay out his golf clubs overnight to dry before the following days' competition. Linda and Nigel definitely went above and beyond what you would expect from a B&B owner. We haven't met such genuinely nice people in a long time. Linda and Nigel, we wish you both the continued success with your B&B, which is so richly deserved. Thanks again for everything, Helen and Karl. P.S. give Sunny a tickle from me!

Just en-route home from a superb weekend in North Devon. We were down for the gold coast festival and thought the house and hospitality of this amazing B&B couldn't have been any better! Linda & Nigel were even kind enough to lend me some wellys so I could enjoy the muddy festival site. Many thanks and hopefully see you again soon, Rob & Zoe
