“A Fab stay in a Fab Place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2009

I recently visited Little Comfort Farm with some friends and from the moment we arrived instantly felt welcomed by the friendly and accommodating hosts. After a long drive, the usually dull experience of unpacking was made far mor pleasant by the free cream tea which was waiting in our very quaint cottage. Set in a really idyllic location with lots to do for all ages from the farm tours, which even 6 universty girls found really good fun, a great beach nearby, local shops, cafes and bars and time spent admiring the view from the farm and cottages of the surrounding area filled up our stay, and when it was time to leave, we all agreed that we wished we could stay for a few extra days. Being from the city, and not that great at thinking in advance, the hosts were more than welcome to offer suggestions about the best places to vist on arrival, and after a day of surfing, it was a welcome thought to know that we could come back to the farm and have one of home made meals that could be bought from the farm shop, which offfered a huge selection of hearty food. I was really impressed with the size of the cottage, which were extremely clean and modern, caterering for all our needs throughout our stay. Rather than find time to go back to the cottage, Im going to make sure that i MAKE time to go back, either with friends or family to see the hosts, the local sights and of course the animals, which cant get any cuter, especially the pigs! A really top stay, made all the nicer by the homely feel of the farm and fab hosts!! A definite must!!

I have just returned from our fifth holiday at Little comfort farm with our three young children and yet again Little comfort did not let us down one bit !! Little comfort is set in the most beautiful of Devonshire countryside, close to amazing coastlines and all amenities are only a short drive away. The cottages provide a comfortable, cosy base for exploring the beautiful farm, the kitchens are well equipped for self catering or you can treat yourself to the fabulous home cooked meals and treats available to purchase. The highlights for the children and adults alike, is being able to help hands on with the farms daily tasks, these include egg collecting, lamb feeding and pig feeding or anything that happens to be going on or just exploring the farm trails, lake and picturesque stream is a great way to spend the day. The friendliness and hospitality that greets you at the farm is second to none and
nothing is too much trouble. The farm is run with love and passion and has a natural beauty that is unbeatable. I would most definitely recommend this very special place to everyone.

Myself and a number of friends have stayed at Little Comfort Farm a number of times and would highly recommend it to anyone. The cottages are very clean, cosy and inviting with a lovely cream tea provided on arrival. The proprietors could not have been more helpful and welcoming, going out of their way to ensure guests enjoy their stay as much as possible. The location is fantastic with lots to see and do in the area. The farm itself provides an idyllic setting combined with lovely animals to see, which is the perfect enironment for children of all ages to enjoy. I will certainly be going back to Little Comfort Farm and would strongly recommend a visit

I stayed at Little Comfort Farm for the fourth time in February this year with some friends. The location is stunning and we had a great stay at Little Comfort Farm. We were greeted by very friendly hosts and the cream tea on arrival was very much appreciated, the cottage was clean and very cosy. The farm tours in the mornings are great fun and its lovely to see how happy the animals are and how much space they have to run around!! We were actually there when one of the pigs gave birth to nine beautiful piglets, I was amazed to see how much they had grown in just one week! I will definitely be returning to Little Comfort Farm again soon!

We booked a stay at little comfort farm as it was recommended to us by a close friend, it seemed like the perfect chance to escape city life and experience a remote farm. The location is remote, but not too far from the beach, where we took the children (although a little cold - it was November) it was stunning! The farm has a lovely atmosphere, really great for families, and although that cottage interior is not modern it is true to the character of a farm, and was gorgeous. The cottage was warm and cosy, and the food we bought from the farm itself was the best produce i have ever come across. The children were shown around the farm, and allowed to help feed the animals, which they loved. It was such a great family trip - so welcoming and relaxed; we have recommended it to all that we know! Well worth a visit!

My family and I had a lovely stay at Little Comfort Farm. The cottage was clean, the hosts were extremely friendly, and the location idyllic, (beautiful surroundings, and a lovely walk around the farm visiting all the animals!) Close to local towns, and some fantastic costal walks, and of course the beach!

Great for any family or couple wanting a relaxing stay in the countryside. I would highly recommend it and we are planning to visit again soon.

Plus delicious cream tea!!
