Sunnycroft Hotel is a lovely small hotel, ideally situated in St Peters Port.
There are a lot of steps up from street level, so this is not somewhere to stay if you have mobility problems. I would advice also, getting a taxi to the Hotel on the day of your arrival, as walking down the steps isn't as bad as carrying your luggage up!
I had a double room which I shared with my daughter. It was small, but comfortable. We had a mini fridge which was a great idea, an iron and ironing board, TV, phone, hairdryer and plenty of tea, coffee etc. Free wi-fi is also available at the Hotel plus there is a computer for guests use in the living room of the Hotel.
Our room opened out onto a shared terrace ( shared with 6 other rooms), with a table and 2 chairs in which to sit and relax and enjoy the wonderful views over the Port.
Breakfast was included in our stay, and the cooked breakfasts were gorgeous. There was also plenty of healthy foods for those not wanting a cooked breakfast.
The Hotel also benefited from an 'honesty bar', where, if there were no staff around, you could have a drink and leave them a note so they could charge it to your room. The bar was well stocked. It had a nice, small conservatory attached.
The Breakfast room was comfortable, and lead out into a lovely kept and maintained garden.
All the staff we encountered were friendly.
We stayed for 4 nights, and I would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely little Hotel to others, and would certainly stay there again myself as it is an ideal base from which to set out and explore.
