“Excellent food-went back second night and just as good.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2013

Excellent French food- we came across this restaurant on internet as were in St Peter Port for two nights. Was so good we would have liked to have gone back a third night to sample more of the menu. Quite a large restaurant and always seemed full although they fitted us in the first night despite us not booking. Service was fine-maybe a bit slow because of it being busy but then you wouldn't want to rush a meal like that anyway. Very good value as well-not sure we have ever had such a good meal and both nights equally as good. Booking is probably advisable by the look of the popularity of restaurant.

“Really enjoyed it.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

Firstly their boulebaisse is better than any I have had. Served with croutons, rouille and gruyere. To die for. The wine was good and service was quick. They do 3 courses before 7 I believe, for just 13quid.

I didn't eat in the bistro but imagine it to be a similar experience, cute decor, good service and not bad prices.

“Poor, slow service and cold coffee”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

Went for a quick coffee as Muse was closed for a private function. The time was 3 o'clock in the afternnon and the cafe was half empty.

The owner was sat at the bar talking to people and the staff were busy talking to each other. We sat down and waited for ourorder to be taken. Despite numerous attempts to grab someone's attention it took over 20 minutues before someone came to serve us. We ordered two latte's and then waited another 20 minutes for those to arrive.

When the coffee arrived it was luke warm and had little taste.

All this time the owner, who used to be very dynamic, was sat at the bar ignoring what was going on around her.

I was with someone new to the island and unfortunately she has possibly lost a long standing customer and a possible new customer for her cafe and her restaurant, Le Petit Bistro.

Will not be returning

we had a superb breakfast here. the waiter was friendly and helpful, and although he would have gone to bake more croissants we decided to have Croque Monsieur and scrambled eggs which were fantastic.

“A little piece of France”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

We go to France a few times a year, but if we can't get there, we pop into the Le Petit Café, where the majority of staff are French and it feels like you have stepped into a little piece of France in the heart of St Peter Port, Guernsey
