We have been visiting Guernsey for 10 years but for the past 3 we have stayed at the Wayside Cheer Hotel,

The staff are just brilliant and the hotel is clean and cosy,

we usually have one of the outside chalets as it right by the pool and we dont have to climb stairs,

We have booked again for this year and when talking on the phone to Donna she tells me that the hotel has been taken over by Ken who does all the entertainment at the hotel, She said that all the staff are staying which is great news and ken is having some rooms remodeled and is increasing the entertainment

Year before last we saw Con & Dec, The Bachelors and last year Jimmy Cricket, we have booked when there is a show on again and look forward to the live shows in the Ballroom.

The food is excellent and changes every day so you get a wonderful variety and the location is great for the sandy beach across the road.

We sometimes Join in with the dancing an love mixing with the locals in the evenings especially when theres entertainment in the bar.

The hotel may be a little old fashioned but well above what you would expect for the money, each year we try and book at the same time as other regulars to the wayside and always have a wonderful time Roll On July....
