In general this is very good but, we found the staff very grumpy! At the till when we were paying, the lady (the owner I think) was giving a local the third degree about whether her child actually belonged to her and could enter under her pass. Our kids peeked out the door to look at the activities and were actually shouted at as they hadn't paid yet. Then some of the rides were at times poorly supervised and then at times supervised by shouting teens whe had obviously had too much sun.... The toilets were very dirty with no water to wash hands. A good experience, ruined by some basic errors.

Thank you for taking the time to join TripAdvisor to leave your comments.

One of our customers have directed us to your review and we are disappointed that you didn't have a better experience with us, in particular with relation to our staff who generally have very positive comments from our visitors.

I suspect that the staff member in question was ensuring the children didn't get lost before they had been given the wristbands that all customers wear, rather than implying they weren't paying.

The park is unsupervised and we do clearly mark on all our literature that children are the responsibility of parents. Despite this we do have a high ratio of adult staff who will intervene if they feel that a child is being a danger to themselves or others.

The Park is on mains water supply and we offer hand sanitizer at all key points in addition to our toilet facilities.

We would be very keen for you to contact us and discuss the date of your visit and experience to allow us to respond in a more thorough manner and to ensure optimum staff training

Thank You

Superb ......... We have just returned from a four day break to Jersey and to be frank I have fallen in love with the island ! We visited Amaizin Maze on our first day there. We paid the entrance fee and my first impression was that it was expensive and not that impressive.......... I was soon put right by our five year old son ! There was so much to do, the equipment that was there was very high quality and safety features heavily. Our son's favourite was the large tractors that he could race his Dad on and the tractor ride around the park was excellent, it was not the slow boring type but fast and fun with water being sprayed at you! Well worth the money, you can fill your day there, our son wanted to go back the following day !

the maze is engrossing, but the other rides and attractions are a bit kiddy, if you have kids, take them, if you have teenagers, just take them to the maze.

With three children the eldest being 11 and youngest being 5 it is sometimes hard to find something that keeps all three of them happy in one day but amaizin is one place which does, which during a weeks holiday we visited it three times and each day arrived at 10ish and left around 5. We payed one enterance fee for the whole day.
We started the day by feeding real jersey calves with a bottle which all my three children loved and even i had a go. The children then went off and we didn't hear a squabble from them all day, it was so nice to watch them playing so nicely all together, we then all went on the tractor which was brilliant. For lunch we decided to eat at the snack shack which had a lovely menu with meals to light bites. the food that was served was well presented and tatsted beautiful.
After lunch the children went into the barnyard where they held the baby rabbits under supervision by who they called the rabbit lady (they had previously met at kids zone) who was brilliant with all ages of children and met all of their indvuidual needs, when it came to holding the rabbits.Whilist waiting for a turn they milked an articfical jersey cow which was entertaining. Following this they were able to brush billy the goat which again the children loved, all these animals are clearly cared for superbly as not one of them kicked, ran away or bit any of the children and they all seemed to love the attention. One thing that was good in the barnyard was hygiene and the rabbit lady was very good at making the children wash their hands and telling them why they had to. At 5 my youngest hates washing hands but with special soap that was given he didn't say a word.
The children went back into the park for the rest of the afternoon. when it was time to leave the only way i could get them out was to tell them if they were good then we could come back, and we did twice. The second and third time we visited i must admit i went on all the activities with the children because they kept on going about how much fun it all was and to be honest i quite agree with them the toboggan was an excellent laugh as were the go karts. So even for adults i would still say it is a must to visit.
We will certainly be visiting next year when we do our annual visit to Jersey

if you have 3 or more hours to spare you will love amazin maze park, its got everything for all ages, if you go in the corn maze you will have to allow plenty of time to get round it ,as it is very big, but they also have a smaller one so if you are pushed for time go in the small one, you wont get lost in there as, they give you a long pole with a flag on it, so just wave it and they will come and get you out, there is lots of other things to do in the park, there is tractor rides, go carts, bikes, football, little zoo, crazy golf, plus lots more things, also a cafe ,and nice clean toilets , and plenty of staff about, to help you , in all its a great place for kids, and nice for grown ups too, when we are in jersey on holiday with our grandson we always go to amazin maze he loves it, and we can enjoy it too, its a must place to go if you have children they will love it.
