“A FUN EXPERIENCE FOR THE LITTLE ONES”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2010

we stayed for a 4 night break in july and used little escapes as some how they came up cheaper than condor even though we went on the condor boat (strange).
we have stayed at the campsite a few times but we would normally be in the travelsmith tents this time we were in newer tents which we liked however it was a slighty longer walk to the toilet area but all part of the fun camping! :)
You get everything you need to make your stay comfortable i would advise they get thicker foam mattresses as we could feel the floor and take a lighter for the stove.
The site is clean and well run,you can use the family shower rooms if you have a little ones which is good you can also use your hair dryer in the main shower block, there is a shop with a a good selection of things from food to shoes.
The resturant serves the full english and evening meals along with some entertainment some nights,we thought the food was good quality.
Take a good map to find the campsite as it can be a nightmare first time along tiny lanes

Stayed here twice as part of package deal with Condor Ferries, which have some very good value deals. The tent is ready erected and there are 3 sleeping sections and a kitchen / eating area. There is a gas stove and a set of cutlery, plates, pans, cups to get you by. There is a dining table, 6 chairs and cleaning materials. For the gas you may be lucky if some has been left by the previous occupant, othrwise you have to buy a new cylinder. The site has a small children's pool and playground. The toilets and showers are up with the bar/cafe, which does breakfast and evening meals-also bingo/quiz nights. There is a small shop, laundry, kids games room, TV room and a sink area to wash up your stuff. You can park near your tent and there is a local rep in normal hours. Apart from snorers in other tents it quietens down after 2200. The site is about 3 miles north east of St.Helier off the A6. The last half mile is down green lanes, make sure you have a map! A good local eaterie is the Ransomes garden centre on the way to Gorey on the B30
