5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2011 via mobile

Excellent hotel with excellent staff. Tomas on reception was exceptional in his knowledge of the area.
The hotel is beautifully located at Elizabeth Harbour with only a short stroll to St Helier.
The walk across the bay to St Aubin is spectactular.
At times of the year the hotel can be expensive but it is worth it for the experience and ambiance of this hotel.
We have stayed several times and hope to return soon.

Stayed here for quite some time whilst on a project. Its right on the coast headland with an amazing view of the island castle. Both gym and swimming pool are good and only about five minutes walk from the center of St Hellier. The staff were great (brought me a birthday cake when they found out it was my birthday). The food is slightly poor value and is a bit hit and miss.

Room Tip: Get a sea view and check to make sure they dont stick you in a disabled access room as these tiny si...

As the name implies the hotel is on the waterfront . The hotel is about 25 minutes from the airport. The room we were in had a lovely view of the castle. The bedroom was a good size with the most comfortable bed I have slept in when on holiday. There was a turnover service every evening and daily newspapers delivered. The room was kept very clean. There were toiletries in the decent size bathroom and coffee making facilities in the bedroom. The breakfast room was large with lots of food on offer. There is also an indoor swimming pool. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the town centre and a trip to the castle is recommended.

My hubby and myself have been to jersey 12 times and the Radisson is by far the best hotel we have stayed in. Great location on the waterfront and only a short walk into St Helier town where there are plenty of shops bars and restaurants. As previous reviewers have mentioned a shortage of storage space, we would like to point out that it is more than adequate for a 4 night stay as we had.The rooms are modern bright and cleaned to a high standard. Beds and bedlinen are to die for. The bathroom is light and bright with huge fluffy towels. There is also an adjustable make up /
shaving mirror on bathroom wall.
We feel that in our opinion there is no need to spend extra money on upgrading to a sea view room as all the rooms are the same apart from junior suites. We had an inland view with a limited view of the sea and town. You will have a great view of the marina and elizabeth castle as you are enjoying a very nice brekky with all you will want. The lounge also takes in the same view and also the terrace where you can enjoy a VERY EXPENSIVE DRINK watching the yachts bobbing about. Handy tip, no one will tell you that you can order latte,s and poached eggs and fried eggs for breakfast as there are only 2 type ,s of eggs on the buffet, which are boiled and scrambled.
There is ample car parking directley outside of the hotel.Check in and out quick and easy with friendly staff. You can buy a car parking pay card from reception which you will need all over the island for parking up until 5pm and then it is free even in st. helier.
An enjoyable stay, we reccommend the Radisson.

excellent hotel, positioned well, very clean in all aspects of the hotel.
some of the staff seemed to be alittle of hand mainly on reception however i did think this was more their accent rather than attitude.
waiters and cleaners very cheerful and exceptionally pleasant.
the hotel only down fall for us was that they only had one wheelchair and another visitor to the hotel had it, we wasnt able to book it prior to the visit. the lady who wanted the wc doesnt have her own and doesnt normally need one but was struggling when we was there.
the hotel was in a good location and everything easy accessible via foot or taxi.
evening meals expensive. when we did eat in there though, very nice

We stayed at the Radisson a few weekends ago for my husbands birthday and we were delighted with our choice of hotel. The hotel didn't look like much from the outside, but inside was very clean and the staff very helpful. We paid extra for a sea view room (slighly disappointed by the lack of balcony like other reviewers but we should have checked this ourselves and this didn't hamper our weekend) but because we were there for a birthday, the Raddisson upgraded us for free to a business room which we were delighted with. They also brought us some complimentary jersey fudge which was a nice touch and were very attentive asking us if we needed anything extra in the evenings.

Rooms were clean and spacious, with tv, fridge, safe and comfy beds - we also had the added extras of bathrobes and an Nespresso machine which my husband loved. The views over the marina are lovely and I would recommend paying a little extra for a sea view room if you can. I don't know what the other reviewers were on about with the smell though, there was a slight smell of seaweed at low tide but surely you'd expect this from any seaside hotel - it's just typical seaside smells!

Breakfast was a typical buffet style but there was a huge amount of food to choose from - the staff were also very helpful and would bring anything else you wanted directly to you. We didn't actually eat in the restaurant so I can't comment on service or food standards in here but the bar did get quite busy in the evenings and it did take us a little while to be served the first time.

All in all though, we had a lovely time at the Radisson and wouldn't hestiate to book again.

Just back from 5 nights at the Radisson. Had a sea view room but disappointed there was no balcony (my own fault, should have checked). The room was ok but quite small, similar to a Premier Inn room but twice the price! The bed was really comfortable and the bed linen was nice. As mentioned by another reviewer, the smell was awful. We too were told it was from the seaweed in the bay but you couldn't smell it outside which we found strange. The service in the bar was quite slow and we were charged 3 different amounts for the same 2 drinks. Also the spa is not really what I would call a spa, both the gym and the pool are very small. This hotel is definitely for the business traveller not holidaymaker.

Room Tip: Get a sea view room but there are no rooms with balconies so if you require one, go elsewhere.
