“Absolute heaven !!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2009

My wife and I stayed here on our wedding anniversary. We stayed at the penthouse suite The Stargazer. It was nothing short of amazing !! The room had all the latest technology from remote controlled air con to music throughout the rooms and on the balcony too. The rooms was furnished to the highest standards inside and outside. The bed was so confortable and lovely l-shaped couches in the sittingroom. The balcony views were amazing. There was lots of space on it and was furnished with loungers, BBQ, tables and chairs and an fantastic jacuzzi !!! The weather was about 24 degrees or more so we spent most of our time on the balcony on the loungers and in the jacuzzi. There was barely any noise and we sat on the balcony all night. There are nightclubs close by but this had no effect on our stay. Downstairs there was a brilliant swimming pool and spa. It had a lovely swimmingpool, jacuzzi, saunas and steam rooms. Its all set in ambient colours and very relaxing. The hotel is situated five minutes from the main shopping street. Also nearby is parking, taxis, buses and the beach is about ten minutes away. The food was great and the breakfast was one of nicest ive had in a long time !!!! All thats left to say is go and book yourself in !! I will be looking for any reason to go back again !

Having just returned from a three day package stay over a bank holiday I must praise most of our experience at the Royal Yacht. Courteous staff wonderful spa and a selection of bars and restaurants. We knew the room would be smaller than a gold or platinum room but room 323 is a single room masquerading as a double. It only has a shower, with no blind on the bathroom window and one bedside table and light.I have never seen a double room set up in this way. Nowhere to put a glass of water or spectacles, very odd. As it was a short stay we did not complainbut having read some of the comments from the general manager on trip advisor perhaps we should have complained to get a better room. However should customers have to complain to be assured of getting a room that is a reasonable double with all the facilities. Perhaps it would be a better idea for the manager to try the smaller rooms and see how inconvenient it is to have to rearrange furniture so that a chair can be put by the side of the bed .The other problem we faced was that the Scirroco retaurant was closed on the Bank holiday Monday night and Tuesday, (Which happened to be my birthday) and so we had to find food elsewhere. .No one mentioned before our arrival that it was not open for 2 of our 3 night stay. The grill serves very nice steaks the cafe Zephyr in the hotels own words is fun and alfresco but we had read about the Scirocco and were looking forward to dining there. We could not fault all the other ammeneties in the hotel, especially the spa. The staff were attentive polite and very helpfull.

Have stayed at this hotel twice in the past year. Once last summer and recently in April. On both occasions i've had a great time, the staff are extremely friendly and helpfull, the rooms are very clean and comfortable- my room had a lovely spacious balcony which is ideal for relaxing on . Have eaten in all the restaurants and find the standards very high - great food, service and atmosphere. The Spa in this hotel is also fab- the treatments are some of the best i've ever had and the pool area is very calm and relaxing.
I highly recommend this hotel on a visit to Jersey, i will stay there again on my next visit.

Stayed for long weekend for my second wedding anniversary and had a fantastic time, our room was lovely and the service was great. My husband treated me to a massage, which was amazing, the Spa facilities were great, very relaxing . We had a meal at Sirocco which was very, very good and well priced compared with London. would definately recommend this hotel.

we stayed here for a long weekend on 23 may and it was a fantastic hotel , they had everything you could think of,the only down side was that it got very busy to sit outside and the staff gave guest no preferential treatment for a table, overall it is in a great location and was very clean , i would not take my child to this part of the town as it gets quite rowdy in the evenings. ps the grill is outstanding.

Stayed at this hotel (from 15 - 17 May) to celebrate my mum and dad's 50th Wedding Anniversary. The staff could not have been more helpful - nothing was too much and this was from the first enquiry to the end of the stay where they even booked us in on our return flights!!! We had a celebration meal at the Hotel on the night of the Golden Wedding Anniversary, the food was fantastic and very reasonably priced, the service was impeccable and the occasion was made very special by the attention to detail from the staff of the Hotel. The Spa is well worth a visit - my sister, niece and myself spent all day Saturday pampering ourselves, it was sheer bliss!!! The only negative thing about the stay was the fact that there was so much noise from the streets outside the Hotel, when I spoke with the reception staff they told me that they're highlighting this so as future guests will be aware. Fantastic Weekend, Fantastic Hotel and Fantastic staff - would definitely recommend.
