We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and nothing was any trouble at all. From printing out boarding passes to leaving birthday cards for my husband and sister who were both celebrating significant birthdays. We were told that we would have park views, well we did but the balcony also had lovely sea views too. We were given complimentary drinks after there had apparently been an issue with the hot water one evening, we had not even noticed any problems. We ate at Tasili the Michelin starred restaurant and I would recommend anyone to eat here. The whole evening was wonderful, the experience, the staff were knowledgeable and friendly whilst being very efficient, the food was incredibly delicious and we enjoyed being able to watch some of the preparation on a big screen.
I used the gym and pool during the stay and had them to myself which I loved! My only disappointment was not being able to book a treatment at the spa, my own fault as I should have booked in advance rather than waiting until we had been there for a day!
If you are looking for a hotel in St. Helier I would highly recommend The Grand Jersey you will have a wonderful experience.

Stayed her for a 2night stopover, rooms were lovely. decoration, clean and included all the amenities we would need!
The hotel has 2 restaurants, 1 of which has a michelin star. i was very excited to eat here but upon the day of arrival we found it to be fully booked! so we went for the brasserie which turned out to be very nice.
The best part of the hotel is the concierge team. friendly, helpfull and informative. The Portugese lads make a great team and throughout our stay were superb. Also Christian and his team from brekfast helpfull and friendly. Overall a nice hotel, good location within walking distance of everywhere, good spa facilities (including an awesome all angle jet wash shower) and i would stay here again the next time i visit Jersey.

Thankyou for a great stay

We were staying in Jersey last week and had pre-booked a 90 minute massage treatment. Upon arrival, we were shown round the facilities and then proceeded to head to the pool. The facilities are more limited than we've experienced at other residential and day spas for example Pennyhill Park but as we were mainly there for a massage it didn't worry us too much. Had I planned to spend the whole day there, I would however have been disappointed. There is basically a heated pool, 2 sensory showers, a steam room and a sauna. There were only 2 poolside chairs so if you wanted to take time out from the pool and the sauna etc, there was nowhere else to go!

As we'd booked spa treatments, we were able to use the relaxation room which we did. When we first got there, there was soft music playing, a full water dispenser, clean cups etc. By the time we returned an hour later, the water dispenser was virtually empty, there were no clean cups and lots of dirty cups lying around. I fancied a herbal tea but there was only English Breakfast Tea (and no milk). Somewhat bizarre for a spa. Our treatments were booked for 3:30 and this was about 2 so my husband asked for some herbal tea bags. During the 90 minutes that we were in there reading whilst waiting for our treatments, no one came to check the refreshments or clear up. The water was drained and the teabags never materialised. Not a great experience.

But all was forgiven when we had our massages which I have to say were probably amongst the best we'd had. We were in a double treatment room and both of the ladies giving the massages were fairly young but this was no half hearted massage. Having chosen our favourite oils, we had 90 minutes of top to toe bliss with a mix of deep tissue massage and more gentle pressure. Phoebe, who did my treatment was wonderful.

So overall, if we hadn't had the poor experience with the refreshments I would have given this 4 stars but this really let the experience down.

From the very first contact when we booked our trip, the staff at this super hotel went out of their way to make our stay special. My brother-in-law & I are both celebrating big birthdays this year and had a long weekend here with my husband and sister. We couldn't have picked a better hotel. Little touches like birthday cards and fruit bowls in the room, a card from the restaurant staff and free drinks when there was a minor problem with hot water that didn't even affect us really made our stay special. We'd certainly recommend the Grand Jersey.

We have just returned from a two night stay at the Grand and were not dissappointed at all.

We had booked this break through Groupon and to be honest had been totally dissappointed with the last two locations and services and were so glad and pleased that the Grand Jersey did not let us down.

They were kind enough to respond to emails before our trip just to satisfy my concerns, and then when we arrived the service was first class from stepping out of the cab right through to going up to our rooms. There was a lovely fruit basket and personal card wishing us good luck with our wedding in May, small things go a long way. I really am looking forward to clearing our diaries after the wedding and honeymoon to book another stay here.

The only points I would mention - and we have not scored them down for this was the hot water stopped working on Friday night, but they were really quick to pop a letter through all doors offering the use of the showers in the spa downstairs and a free drink per guest, but this did not affect us, but wanted to show you that they looked after their customers straight away, nice touch. Also if going out of season the main restaurants were closed for lunch on Saturday. You can eat in the Champagne lunch but not a large menu, but there are so many restaurants locally that you really are spoilt for choice, we ate in the Wildfire on Friday (really laid back diner) so much food and then Saturday night we ventured up to Little Italy restaurant in the next road to the hotel.

Thank you again for such a relaxing and first class break.

My partner and I stayed in the Grand Jersey for one night whilst celebrating her 30th Birthday. As we live in Jersey we took the opportunity to use the special deal the the Grand Jersey offers for residents. Our stay was really lovely, the room was huge with a sofa and a tv, the biggest bed and the most wonderful views of the castle and the headland at Noirmont. It was only our second stay at the Grand Jersey and the first time we booked a park view room which was also lovely and in spring and summer when all the trees and flowers are in bloom was beautiful but for a special occasion i definitely suggest a sew view room. It was stunning.

During our stay we went down to the Champagne lounge and had afternoon tea. We both had the cream tea and it was fantastic, a lovely blend of tea (their own) and two scones each with assorted jams and not just your average whipping cream...no...this came out with a massive dollop of clotted cream!! Yum!!

Breakfast was also lovely, they have the cereal/pastry/toast/continental/hot breakfast buffet selection. One of those where you are never completely sure where to start and you end up eating three times the amount you would usually consume in a morning but it all looks so good.

There are extra benefits with this hotel, easy check-in and check-out, parking (and valet parking should there not be any spaces in front of the hotel), lifts in all the right places (including just next to the spa entrance so you don't have to wonder by the champagne lounge in your gown and slippers) and friendly staff.

The only thing i will say is that the spa in the hotel is very popular with residents on the island so if you are even thinking that you might want an appointment i would book as soon as you book your room, I tried a few days afterwards when we had looked at the brochure and chosen what treatment we would both like and by then they had no real availability left apart from 9.15 Sunday morning for 45 mins or 11.00 for an hour, neither of which fitted the treatments we wanted.

This really was a lovely stay in a luxurious hotel and was just perfect for our celebration weekend.

Room Tip: Sea-View rooms have the most amazing views of the bay.
