We were recommended this restaurant by the reception at our hotel. Its on the main shopping street in St Helier over two upper floors. The first floor is a bar/cocktail area which is very attractive with quite a few private booth areas. Most of them face out onto the windows which gives for a great people watching spot! We enjoyed a nice Champagne cocktail before we headed up another set of stairs to the upper restaurant. Staff were very friendly and attentive as we arrived at the entrance and we were ushered to a nice table. Decor is simplistic but still very warming. My wife thought the red voille curtians were a really nice touch...they let light in but give the feeling of somewhere that somebody has spent alot of time thinking about the design. We ordered a chilli beef ramen (a Japenese noodle soup) and the teriyaki rib eye steak. To say we were impressed was an understatement. The noodle soup was sweet, sour, spicy and so full of flavour and came in a really nice small black couldron sat on a wooden board. My wife's steak was in her words melt in your mouth. There are lots of little touches that make the presentation sit way above other city restaurants we have visited on our travels and as for price, we could not believe how reasonable the prices were.
We would definitely recommend Blush to any of our friends looking to visit Jersey.
