This is a surprisingly good, cafe-style (yet quite smart) restaurant, frequented by a mixture of business people, shoppers, older people, tourists and others. It's often packed at lunch time. I work in St Helier and so if I am meeting people for lunch I often choose this place as it is very convenient and the staff are excellent - very efficient. This really works if you want to get a good, tasty meal but need to be able to get in and out in reasonable time. You can take clients, friends or family here, pop in for a coffee or have a proper meal. The decor/style has a touch of "The Paradise" - in a good way - it's rather refreshingly old fashioned (no exposed stainless steel ducts here) and yet totally up to speed. I always have the same thing for lunch: seafood crepe with salad - really tasty. The cakes/puddings look great - it is a source of disappointment to me that I've never yet had a good excuse to come here in the afternoon. This is a very good place.
