“Fantastic restaurant.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2011

We visited this restaurant after reading the reviews on trip advisor. Dont be put off by the size of the place and the no thrills decoration, you are paying for top quality seafood. We had the seafood platter for two (£38) and it was amazing. A huge platter of all seafood, crabs, lobster, every shell fish, really well cooked. If you order this dont bother with starters. The waitress was really pleasant and recommended an excellent Red wine, nothing was to much trouble. As a comparison, we enjoyed this more than eating at Shaun Rankins (Bohemia) Michelin starred restaurant. This is a must experience if you visit St.Helier.

“Please train your waiters”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2011

This is a great little restaurant, but baffled as to how it found its place as number one restaurant in Jersey. The waiting staff really need to improve their service. No smiles or eye contact. Definately no banter or enquiry on the food. Pleae also let us taste our wine before pouring it to the very top of the glass!!! Althought the food was very good we waited over one hour for our main course. Not sure how long others had waited around us but we got the impression that it was a long time. We were very pleased with the bill and it was less than we expected. Will definately returne but would want to see much better support from your waiting team who spoilt what could be excellence.

“Best meal in my life”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2011

Being a huge fan of sea food I could not pass on the opportunity of going into Bistro Rosa. I reserved a table for 5 people and we all loved it; and I've been back 3 times since. The service and atmosphere were great! I had a great 'seafood cocktail' for starter which included crab meat, prawns and small gambas. For my main, I ate a wonderful 'surf & turf' which was a fillet steak and half lobster. It also came with delicious jersey royal potatoes and salad. It was all a very reasonable price and we chose the 3 course meal £15.50 that's available from mon-thurs. I recommend this restaurant to anyone, both families and couples as it was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had.

“fantastic food!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2011

We found this Restaurant on Trip Advisor and it had such good ratings we decided to give it a try and are so glad we did. It doesn't look much and is situated just inside the fish market,it only seats about 18 people so you do need to book but it is fabulous!! Great atmosphere, fantastic food and really well worth a visit.
