“Just beautiful!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

I loved this place. We cycled along the disused railway (footpath/cycle path) to Corbiere, a picturesque lighthouse on a pillar of rock, joined to the mainland by a granite causeway, which becomes covered as the tide comes in.

“worth the walk”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

as long as it's a sunny day, then it's worth the walk across to the lighthouse if only to see the rocky landscape.

“Seeing the light tour - excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013

We did the "seeing the light" tour on 12 May - excellent (and I believe rare) opportunity to see inside the lighthouse and hear some interesting tales from it's history.

I have wanted to do this guided tour since first visit to Jersey in 2009 - I was not disappointed. Sue Hardy was the guide and really brought the tour to life. Highlights for me were getting right up to the top of the lighthouse ... and also finding the spot on the causeway where the lighthouse is reflected in the rockpool (makes for a fab photo!).

I would highly recommend this tour if you get the opportunity.

“A nice walk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

We saw it at high (ish) water, went to the Military museum then had some food & went back & we were in time to walk across. A really wonderful place.
