If you are looking for a comfortable location within a easy drive of the Cliffs of Moher or Digle Peninsula, this is a perfect spot.
The oweners are pleasant and the grounds are beautifully maintained. iI is always questionable when looking at a webiste or book to choose a place to stay, but in this case the pictures do not do it justice.

A beautiful, comfortable room overlooking 2 lovely views: a babbling brook and fields and then a view of the Old Castle, a cool tower covered in ivy. Ultra cozy and quiet. Breakfast in a lovely cozy dining room, and sweet owners. Please visit this town in all you seek is a pint of Ireland, no tourists, nothing to 'see' but everything lovely right on the river Shannon. This village has no restaurants, but 6 pubs! How cool is that! visit their website, but it won't do justice to this lovely spot.
