“Great B & B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2011

What a great little B & B. We arrived later then we had told the owner as we got very lost on the way there. There was no problem and we were greeted with a smile at the door. Our room was very nice. It was newly decorated and very clean. There was even a heated towel rack in the bathroom. We couldn't be happier with the room. The breakfast was chosen the night before by checking a list and was very good in the morning. The location is very close to Wicklow National Park which is very beautiful and worth the visit. I would absolutely stay here again.

The Owner were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast could pre ordert from a list. And every morning it had been prepared after we arrived at the breakfast room. It tasted good. The breakfast room was also the sittung room, so we could stay outside our room to play something and also to talk to other guest. There was a fridge outside with fresh milk and it could be used from the guest. Free Wifi. Also TV , but we doesn't used it, because we are on holiday. The house lies off the main road so it was quiet. The ownes gave us good tips what to do nearby. We enjoyed our stay and would always come back.

Our twin room at Bramble Rock was absolutely spotless and well-appointed. Ann is extremely helpful and accommodating, and Ger makes a fantastic breakfast. We stayed the night after visiting Powerscourt Gardens with a plan to visit Glendalough the next day, and this was perfectly situated. The Wicklow Heather restaurant is about a 5 minute walk into town, and was a great choice for dinner. I would definitely stay at Bramble Rock again.

We loved the Bramble Rock. Every where else throughout Ireland (a total of 18 days), I kept saying to my friend, "I wish I was back at Bramble Rock." The rooms and common spaces are beautiful, clean and new. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. And I loved the smell of the linens. The towels were plush and there's a towel warmer. The shower was hot and strong. There's a LCD TV and satellite. The breakfast was delicious with multiple choices (not just Irish breakfast). The location of the B&B is fabulous. Finally, the owners are incredibly nice and wonderful. She even brought out tea and snacks when we first checked in. I never write reviews but had to write a review on Bramble Rock because it is amazing!

Big room with great view, very comfortable, nice linens and lovely people. Excellent breakfast. Really good location, just up a little road off the main road, near a nice place to eat - the only one, perhaps - the Wicklow Heather - and a quick drive to Glendalough, a great site to visit for history, walking and picnicking.

We stayed at Bramble Rock on the first night of our trip to Ireland. When we arrived, we were exhausted and being able to collapse in our huge room was a welcome relief. The room and bathroom were very large and extremely clean. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful in their suggestions of places to eat in Laragh. (Not many, but it was still nice to have the suggestions!) Nice options for the breakfast the next morning, which was very tasty.

Myself and my Boyfriend stayed in the Bramble Rock for the August Bank Holiday weekend. Just a short break away from Dublin. Ann and Ger in the Bramble Rock made us feel extreemly welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Anne made sure there was soya milk & butter available to my boyfriend and even went as far as to provide Soya yogurts! The breakfast provided was fit for a king and kept you full for the day! The B&B is beautifuly decorated and has everything you could possibly need for your stay Tea & Coffee in your room, satelite channels and DVD player in each room. Shower in the room was lovely
The B&B is only a few minutes walk away from Lynhams Pub where they have a band most weekends and serve lovely pub grub, then the Wiklow Heather is just a further minute away for a beautiful meal. Glendalough is then a 5 min drive away.
I will definitely be going back to stay in Bramble Rock with some friends to explore a few more trails. Thanks for everything Ann & Ger
