I found the rooms ok, nothing special and some of the furniture had seen better days. Our room was facing a wall out the back and we had some views of the bins which was disappointing as a view out the front of the hotel would have been amazing but at least it was quiet I suppose. The views from the hotel are lovely, especially from the restaurant. My children loved the little garden out front, running along the paths seeing where they led to. We ate in the restaurant one of the evenings of our stay and the food was very nice. The breakfast was ok. We had to wait quite a while for tea and toast and a couple of times for the hot food to be topped up but that was fine. The only other point I would make was I seen some people getting pancakes freshly made and when I asked for some for my son the waiter told me they were only for 'special people' and had to be ordered the day before. It did give us a wee laugh though as I explained to my son we clearly werent 'special' people although to be fair to the waiter he was able to get us scrambled eggs instead. The swimming pool was great for the kids. Its the warmest pool I've been in and the bubbles in the different parts of the pool was great for the kids.Overall the hotel has a relaxed atmosphere in a lovely setting, leisure facilities were very good, food was lovely and the hotel was easily accessible to Wicklow town and the surrounding areas so all in all I would stay here again.
