I stayed at this hotel last night with my friend. When we arrived back to the hotel last night, the receptionist was refusing to allow us up to our room- he said that other girls had gone up before us. This was completely untrue. Basically, he thought there were more then two of us using the room. He was so rude and started demanding that we left the hotel! For a finish we just walked passed him and went up to the room- he obviously found out in the mean time that he had made a mistake as we never heard anymore. No apology from this extremely arrogant receptionist who's name was apparently Daniel. Wont be back, such a pity we had fully paid on check in!!

Close to quite a few amenities including a health club although I don't know what it was like as I never got the opportunity to try it out. The hotel itself was OK and the staff (all but one) do try very hard to please. We had a conference room booked and they could not do enough for us. The rooms are OK although a little dated and not having WiFi above the ground floor is just crazy in the age of the tablet.

We chose this hotel while touring in south-western Ireland and also as a meeting point with a family member along the rail line. It was a pleasant surprise with modern and well-kept room and facilities, including a connecting health-spa, fast food restaurants and grocery shopping. The hotel is also at the junction of major highways and it's a couple kilometres into the town for restaurants, sights and railway.

Check-in was fast and efficient in the early evening and the receptionist provided several suggestions for meals in the nearby town after picking-up our rail passenger. The rooms are spacious with modern equipment and the bathroom equally well equipped. My only concern was the intermittent hot water for my shower at about 9:30am on a weekday morning which required to-and-fro'ing as the temperature fluctuated.

While booking online, we also requested a reduced breakfast fee (from 15.00 per person) and we were surprised upon arrival to see a special reduced fee of 8.50 per person for an excellent selection from both the buffet and the kitchen.

Stayed here for a saturday night and it was very relaxed and enjoyable. Checked in at 2.30 pm and had a light lunch in the bar. Visited the Leisure center and later had a very nice meal in the stir restaurant, which was very good value. Breakfast next morning was excellent. Overall a very nice stay.

Stayed here at the weekend, never again. Took over 15mins to check in, when we finally reached the desk, the receptionist had no more interest in us being there, just took the keys and that was it, not once did she make eye contact. As we were waiting people were complaining as the hotel was over booked so we decided to help out we would double up with our friend, we hardly got a thank from the reception for helping them get a room back. Went to the restaurant for dinner service was shocking 3staff for easily over 80 people waiting ages for drinks and food, dinner was ok bar the dessert when I finally got mine the whole thing was melted in the plate.. overall the hotel was short staffed and the few there had no interest.
