“Warm & welcoming Irish B & B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2014

Arthur & Olive are delightful hosts who made us feel very welcome even though we arrived a little early. The full Irish breakfast each morning was a real treat and cooked to perfection. We stayed for 6 days mid May and Arthur & Olive were very helpful with suggestions of places of interest to visit such as Knowthe & Clonmacnoise. We didn't quite make it to the top of Wicklow Mountains but did encounter several tanks along the way which made for a great story for my dad to dine out on for several weeks afterwards! The b & b is kept spotless and room service and fresh towels are provided daily. The garden is lovely, too chilly to sit out in at the time but would imagine it to be very relaxing in the summer months. You need a car to stay here as it is about a 10 min drive to Naas town and there aren't any pubs within walking distance but it's not too expensive to get a taxi to town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Arthur & Olive and would highly recommend their lovely home to all

Room Tip: Twin room at the back of the house had a slightly larger shower cubicle than the internal twin room...

Couldn't have been more accommodating for our 2 day stay over the 2014 Punchestown festival.

The only improvement could be 20/1 winning tips with the breakfast....

See you in 2016!

We stayed with Arthur and Olive and were made to feel very welcome. They were most hospitable hosts. They even provided a lovely fish breakfast for my vegetarian husband. For the ensuite double room we paid 65 Euros a night. The place was not difficult to find as it is well-sign-posted but it is best to aim to get there in daylight as it is in the country - you will need a car to get to this lovely location, nice and quiet, and not too far from Russborough House (well worth a visit). The B&B was lovely and clean and our hosts were very kind in providing us information. Thank You Arthur and Olive for a welcome stay in your house. And thanks for the upgrade at no extra cost to the en suite! Much appreciated.

Room Tip: The two rooms we saw were fine. One was en suite, one not, so we were given a choice.

It is often difficult to find a b&b with a 4 person family room, particularly in high season. I believe they only have 4 rooms or so but one is a great 3 bed ensuite (private toilet & shower). We were a late arrival and in the dark had a bit of a difficult time locating them, but once we were there Arthur made us feel very welcome and at home. Good nights sleep and a decent cooked to order brekfast and we were on our way. Recommended to any families either just arriving to Dublin or on your way home and you want to stay outside the city but have easy access to/from the airport.

I stayed here the weekend of my friends wedding which was at the end of a short break in Ireland and I have to say I wish we'd found this B&B sooner.

We arrive on the day of the wedding and were running somewhat behind schedule. Having checked into the room the hosts very generously offered us a lift to the venue saving us from being late and provided several taxi numbers for the return journey.

The following morning we had a hearty breakfast with as much cereals, toast and fry up as you could want. The hosts were very friendly and more than willing to spend time advising on things to do in the local area, giving directions etc.

The house was clean, quiet and comfortable and hosts went above and beyond the call of duty to help us enjoy our stay. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

Thank you

I stayed with my Husband and children, we had two rooms one was very small with no ensuite and not even a tv, the other was ok i found it quite cold i had booked for four nights but only stayed two as i became sick and just wanted to get home, as well as our room rate we had to pay a cancellation fee....which i felt was very unfair as the circumstances were beyond our control. would not go back.

Room Tip: Look for photos.....
