Excellent location (right on Market Square), beautiful & comfy rooms not to mention the extremely helpful and friendly people. We will totally be staying here again! The only downside is that they are doing construction so there was noise in the morning but soon they will have their own restaurant. Gotta go to Pete's coffee shop just up the street, DELICIOUS!

The hotel was beautiful and the staff went out of their way to make sure we felt welcomed and taken care of. Location is perfect, located at Market Square and just a few minutes walk to University of Tennessee. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We spent 2 days at The Oliver.

The good: Friendly and professional staff. Nice bed and nice amenities. Great location.

The bad: Fire alarm went off at 2AM. Room was a little smaller than I expected, given the price I paid. Drunk idiots in the hallway at 1 AM woke us up. The air conditioning was EXTREMELY loud. I have never heard anything like it. It was impossible to sleep with the AC on, and I am a heavy sleeper. Luckily it was cold out, so we did not suffer too much.

Overall it was an OK place, but I will probably find somewhere else to stay next time.

Our stay at The Oliver was excellent. My wife and I love small boutique hotels and this one did not disappoint. The room was a great size and we both loved the bathrom. The bar, while a bit small, was buzzing from the time it opened. The location could not put you in a better spot for a great night out in Knoxville.

Highly recommend.

We liked the Oliver Hotel and their location is undeniably convenient to everything in downtown. The bed was very comfortable and the linens soft. We did have trouble sleeping because our room was directly over the new bar and we could hear the music very clearly - no people talking or laughing, just the music. The staff assured me that they are working on addressing the issue. So, we will give them another try when we visit Knoxville again!

We stayed two nights in this very charming hotel. It was in an awesome location. We could walk anywhere downtown. The rooms were a little small compared to some hotels, but I liked the coziness. There wasn't a breakfast but there was an excellent cafe right around the corner. I would love to stay here again.

Room Tip: We booked through expedia.com but found out we would of saved money by booking directly through the...

The rooms are gorgeous. Colors, furniture and bed linens are all first class. The room was very clean. We had 4 adults in a two room suite. The couple on the sofa bed slept well. The king size bed was very luxurious. Bathroom was very large, two sinks and a walk in glass shower large enough for 4 people. Staff were very kind and helpful. They made-up the sofa bed and had ice in the room when I arrived. When I asked for more coffee it was there in minutes. The new bar is fun. Decorated like a library, leather sofas, coffee tables with World Book encyclopedia. The drink menu was in the first few pages of the books. Specialty drinks are named after book characters

Room Tip: My room looked out on Union Street. If the room had been on Market Square side the views would be ni...
