A combination of positive reviews coupled with a nice discount through AAA, I decided to book this hotel for a one night stayover in Knoxville.
I was greeted at the front desk by pleasant personnel who took the time to point out some amenities of the hotel. Once inside the room, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the room, and the bed was also as others had reviewed: much higher quality than one would expect from a middle-of-the-road chain. The air unit appeared to be ordinary, but digital functions and a quiet motor again was a higher quality than expected. The front desk also suggested dining at the steak place next door ("It's a little pricey, but worth it") and their suggestion was well rewarded.
The breakfast area was very nice and friendly, and the food quality and selection was very good.
The only thing I can say negative (and the reason this isn't five starts and only four) is the water pressure in the shower. While it might seem minor, you can't beat a good strong shower when you're tired - and this wasn't one of them. If I could give it 4.5 stars, I would. The ice machine on my end of the floor was out of service, but hey - that's very much a minor inconvenience.
I did not have a chance to take advantage of the jacuzzi, but if work brings me through the area again, I will definitely plan on it.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel and will come back whenever in town.

this hotel was clean and the rooms were well furnished and to a high standard, the hotel had heated swimming pool, saunna, hot tub and gym. The price included breakfast and suttle to the airport. Excellent value for money and would stay again.

My husband was having knee replacement surgery at Park West Medical Center which is about 40-50 miles from home. Rather than driving back and forth or me staying with him in his room not getting rest, we decided that I would stay at the Comfort.
The lady who handled the reservation was courteous and very helpful. I found the property to be lovely, a haven just off the interstate. The staff at check-in was very helpful.
I admit, when I first walked into the room, I thought it seemed like it needed a bit of a facelift -- some plaster was missing on the wall in the bathroom, but that was the only problem! The room was clean. Very clean. Even the carpet. Walking around in white socks didn't yield black ones!
I was delighted to find a sliding glass door that opened onto a small balcony that opened out into the courtyard complete with waterfall fountain. How lovely to sit in the fresh air and enjoy a book and barely hear the traffic from the interstate.
The next morning, I found a breakfast bar to rival a restaurant. Bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits & gravy, cereal, packets of oatmeal and grits, bagels, muffins, waffles, fruit juices, milk and coffee! It was wonderful!
One other note about the room. The bed was comfortable, not rock hard. The king sized bed had five deliciously soft and fluffy pillows -- the kind that make you want to burrow your head back into them when the alarm goes off. The towels and washclothes were amazing, too. No rough & scratchy linens in this place. They were so soft and absorbent.
This is the kind of family hotel you hope to find wherever you go.

  • Liked — Cleanliness, soft towels & pillows and breakfast
  • Disliked — Shower pressure wasn't the best, but tolerable

I have to admit I am somewhat of a hotel snob... I really did not want to stay at a 3 star property. I booked a room at the newish Hilton Garden, but upon arrival I found out they were over sold and told me that the Comfort Inn & Suites next door had available rooms. With some concern I walked over to the hotel. What I found was a great hotel that really surprised me.
On a cold winter night I entered the hotel to be greeted by a very cheerful employee and a beautiful roaring fire place in the lobby to take off the chill. The lobby is nothing like you would expect at a typical Comfort Inn. Beautiful leather furniture and marble floors. Yes... this is great, but I was still concerned about getting a good nights sleep and I have to say the new beds are fantastic and to be honest.. isn't that what we want... a great nights sleep?
I would give them a higher rating but I believe EXCELLENT rating is only for 4 and 5 star properties. Sorry... but I am sort of a hotel snob!
I absolutely will return to this hotel on my next trip!

I have stayed here recently and it is fantastic. I stayed here back in 2004 and 2005 and i admit it wasn't that great, but they got a new owner who has fully renovated it. The beds are higher quality then all the hiltons and high end hotels. The lobby looks great , everything is new. They painted all the walls , change the floor with nice marble tiles and they put in new carpet in all the rooms and hallways. It has a extra layer of cusion so it relieves stress on your legs. There are new suites available too. I stayed in the fireplace suite and it has a fireplace that looks great and a big screen plasma screen. They also just fixed up the hot tub with a beautiful mural of jungle scene on the wall it looks fantastic. Those of you who have heard bad reviews, dont listen it is better than any of the other hotels i have stayed at in knoxville
