One of our favorite local spots. Yes, a franchise, but we have truly enjoyed for many years. Last night, with two couples, was the second bummer this month. I had my fav, Tag Pic Pac with chicken. The Pichi Pacchiu sauce (which requires 10 minutes of garlic cooked in olive oil, then with Roma tomatoes added) was watered, no garlic or olive oil, with canned chopped tomatoes ... Prior visit I ordered filet Bryan med rare. Bummer, full of gristle and bloody rare. Dumb me for ordering a filet in an Italian restaurant. So last night, back to the ole dependable pasta.
