Beautiful venue in downtown Knoxville. They have a limited bar service and drinks are priced as you might imagine, a shot of Patrone will take $9 out of your pocket each time. I loved the historic charm and the ushers were fantastic. I can't wait to go back again

“Beautiful Theater”

We have been here several times. It is beautiful and especially nice at Christmas time. When visiting Knoxville, or if you live here, make sure you visit this Theater.

“Beautiful, classic old theatre”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

If you are in Knoxville for more than a couple of days I would recommend visiting the Tennessee theatre. It is a beautiful and fairly recently renovated building which alone makes it worth a visit. If you can get tickets for a show that would be even better - They show a variety of things including classic movies, actual plays, operas and more modern pieces (I have seen Mamma Mia and the Blue Man group here). Definitely worth a visit!

“Go Hear the Organ!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

It comes up out of the stage, used to be on pipes. A free concert is given some Mondays at noon. Check Friday newspaper or Knoxville tourist. It & the whole theater were rehabbed a few years ago. There are other concerts/venues held here.
