“Holy Land Market - THE Best Middle Eastern Food in Knoxville!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013

I just love going to Holy Land Market. The food is always amazing! There are standard dishes on the menu and specials that will delight even those with the most discriminating tastes. My friends & I always feel welcomed by Walter & Denise. The baked treats are terrific and there are great items to purchase from the case to take for lunch the next day. I highly recommend a trip to Holy Land Market on Sutherland. You'll return again & again!

“What a Treat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013

You can't go wrong eating here no matter what type of food you like. While mainly middle eastern, on any given night you can find Italian, polish and other national treats on the specials board. And don't be afraid to talk to Walter about what you like he always like talking with his customers

“Great food with traditiona dishes and plenty of choices for even the pickiest eater!”

Walter and Denise go out of their way to provide great traditional dishes and the standard deli fare.
They adjust their menu to accomodate your taste and the portions are generous.

“A great middle eastern restaurant.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013 via mobile

We went to the holy land restaurant after reading reviews on trip advisor while passing by Knoxville. Even that we arrived after their working hours, Mr. Walter and his wife welcomed us warmly. The food was very delicious and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. We had couple of special menu dishes ( kabsa and mansaf) that were like home cooked meals. The meat and spinach pies were excellent as well as the falafel. They even had knafa for dessert. The owners were extremely friendly and we enjoyed chatting with them. We will definitely stop by again when we visit Knoxville.

“Best falafel in Knoxville”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

I devoted part of this week to discovering where to find the best falafel in Knoxville. The HLM was my last stop, and it turns out they were the winner. Their falafel was just perfect in taste, texture, and amount. Here in Knoxville, it's not easy to find a restaurant with a neon sign that says "FALAFEL"' but they have one here.
