The hotel is situated close to the highway and a good stopping point if you are going from Florida to Indiana/Michigan. It is situated in a nice part of town, close to restaurants and shopping. The hotel is clean and the bedding was very comfortable (pillow top). The room is small (we had a queen size bed) but more than adequate for an over night stay. The wireless connection was strong, but the speeds were slow. The speeds are not unlike many other hotels I stayed at in the past. The lighting in the room was great. An overhead light bar behind the bed more than adequately provides sufficient lighting. The hotel does have a breakfast. It served biscuits and gravy along with cereals, oatmeal, juice, bagels, toast and muffins. Nothing fancy, but great to have in the morning before you hit the road. I would recommend stopping here as you travel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room opposite the entrance way. The road traffic is louder on the other side.

I had never stayed at a Microtel before but overall it is a decent place to stay the rooms are small but are functional i wouldn't like it if I had to stay for more than one night the room was clean with a comfortable bed which is all we needed, the young man that checked us in was very friendly and helpful making sure our needs were met the breakfast was good other than the OJ tasted like it had been watered down maybe to make it last longer. would stay again if traveling through as long as i am going solo.

Room Tip: Good place for solo or couples if all you need is a clean comfortable bed

Never stayed at a Microtel before, i had a coupon so it was like $10 cheaper than regular rate and about $30 cheaper than other hotels in the area. The name says it all MICRO, The rooms are half the size of any hotel i have stayed in before, about the size of a hospital room. It was just me by my self so it was fine for one person but reminded me of a hospital. The room was clean and i have great maid service daily. The motel could use some up dating and paint touch ups that doesn't look like a kid did it. The shower needed some extra cleaning there was small spots of mold on places in the tub. Black marks on the walls. No microwave or coffee pot in room, you have to go down stairs to get coffee or use the microwave. Free breakfast was ok, just cereal, bisquit & Gravy, yogart, fruit, milk, juice, coffee. Had a BIG TV. Great lighting in room. Comfortable bed (very) and pillows. Over all whole hotel presentation needs some updating. I would stay here again as long as i had a coupon since the rooms are half the size.

Room Tip: Wish i was on an outside room so i wasn't facing the other rooms windows and could have seen som...

Microtel is a great place to stay for a few days if you are alone or one other person; I am travelling with a lot of luggage so a little cramped. The people are extremely friendly and easy to deal with. The cleaning staff does bare minimum - but again its not the ritz.
