“A hidden jewel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

I was very impressed with the Extended Stay America in Knoxville. It's location off Kingston Pike is convenient, yet also very quiet as the property sits slightly downhill from Kingston Pike with road noise barely noticeable. The property is also close to the West Town Mall, I-40 and other Knoxville area attractions. The value for the money was very good as I've stayed at worse properties and paid more per night than I did at Extended Stay. All staff members I encountered were friendly and accomodating. The Flat screen TV was appreciated as well. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in Knoxville.

While traveling many miles for business and a lot of hotel stays this facility was very clean and provided exceptional management care at a great price. The hotel Manager, Didier LeClaire, could not have been nicer and more attentive to my needs as a guest. The hotel offered a quiet and comfortable stay and the outside grounds were very well kept. The kitchen was an added bonus to the room amenities. Thank you Mr. LeClaire for a great stay!

Returning from a ten day stay at the Jersey shore we had lots of food in coolers and frozen water bottles that needed an overnight home that was bigger than the micro-fridge that is the norm. We found a discount coupon for this hotel that advertised full kitchens for less than $50. We held our breath and were prepared to move on down the line, but this place was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and quiet and the staff was pleasant. There a many restaurants nearby and it's off highway location avoids the loud truck noises. There is no elevator, so we had to lug our stuff up a short stairway off the lobby. There was a coffee pot in the room with a coffee packet, and we had our own milk and cereal so we did not miss the usual breakfast. There was no shampoo or hair dryer, but you just had to ask the front desk. I was handed a brand new hair dryer for our stay. I will stay here again.

We came to Knox to buy a house in 6 days- So we were stressed and very busy-
The location was perfect- Close to the On Ramps, Stores, Malls, Shopping all around.
Front desk was fantastic as far as help, directions or answering questions- I have very long hair and they were nice enough to give me extra towels- The rooms were not fancy but in reading the reviews below I could not disagree more- perhaps that was the hotel under different management. Laundry room was well lit and very clean- the grounds and halls of the hotel were spotless- Everything was just perfect for what we needed. If you are looking for a hotel that is clean and well located this is the place!!~

Paid $135 for a saturday night stay for a football game. The location is average and the gentleman who checked me in was helpful, but otherwise this hotel is a complete dump. The entire hotel had a strong smoke and mold odor, and i was so disgusted by the lack of cleanliness and odor that i slept in my car. I would never return for a stay due to datedness and overall lack of cleanliness.

The hotel room was clean. The rooms are a lil dated but this does not matter to me that much cause it was a business trip. If you are on a budget its a great place to stay. Close to a few bars and down the street from restaurants and the Mall. Also the staff was great.
