Stopped overnight at this hotel. Nothing bad here but nothing great. Decor is odd in spots and starting to show wear. The front desk staff weren't bad but clearly there was someplace else they would rather have been.

While the location of this Fairfield Inn was convenient, there were many other hotels in the area which we will try the next time we are traveling through. This hotel looked as if it was a hotel of another brand that had been taken over by Fairfield. Even though the carpet, bedspread, etc. were the newer Fairfield kind, the furniture was nicked and dated and the mattress was lumpy. Our room did not have a minifrig or microwave. We were on the highway side and fortunately, neither of us have difficulty sleeping. Otherwise, it would have definitely been a problem. Way too noisy. We have stayed in many Fairfields just off the Interstate and have never experienced noise like this. The clerk who checked us in did not exhibit the typical Marriott courtesy--no smile, did not great us as a Silver Rewards Member, almost surly in her interactions. The morning clerk was much friendlier but still did not have the Marriott professionalism we have come to expect. Breakfast was just OK--no hot items and very limited muffins/pastries. We stayed here on points (15,000) and it was a rip-off. Will not stay here again.

We just pulled off the highway and picked this hotel since we use Marriott Rewards. Front desk clerk was very friendly and efficient. Room rate very reasonable. Asked her about somewhere for dinner and she recommended the Cracker Barrel next door but highly recommended Puleo's Grill across the highway. We went to Puleo's and it was a great choice! Our room was very clean and comfortable. We heard minimal highway noise. I think we were on the "quiet" side of the hotel although I didn't request it. There was a refrigerator in the room. The next day we slept later than usual and didn't make it down to breakfast until 8:45. Everything was replenished on the breakfast bar except bananas. We didn't use the fitness room but I noticed it was full the whole time we were eating breakfast. Only one negative item to report-on our way out to dinner a gentleman was telling the front desk clerk that he had encountered a panhandler in the hotel parking lot. We went to dinner. On the way back from dinner we stopped for gas at the station near the hotel. As our teen-aged son was filling the tank he was approached by a panhandler! I reported it to the front desk clerk-maybe the local police will patrol the area...

Great hotel for the money. Very convenient off of 40 and clean, contemporary surroundings. Breakfast was great. Waffles, fruit cereal, yogurt and lots of bread/muffin choices. Would definitely stay again.

Prime football season and the hotel was full. Everything smooth. Room is a little smallish for "suites" title and bed is a tempur-pedic. overall modern and clean. I didn't take part in the complementary breakfast but it looked decent.

We have stayed in this hotel on two different trips to the southeast. It is very accessible from Highway 40. We were warmly welcomed by the desk staff. The room colors are pretty and the bed very comfortable. It is a new hotel within the last few years. A Cracker Barrel is a short walk away and it is good to be able to run over there for dinner after a day on the road. There is breakfast in the hotel. We ate a little after 9 A.M. and the tables were not very clean. Waffles were no longer available. Nevertheless, there were still plenty of choices of breakfast food. There are less expensive hotels nearby but we just like the Fairfield Inn.
