The Hampton Inn I-75 North, Knoxville was a great value for the price. The room was a little narrow for the furniture, but the beds were very comfortable, everything was clean and welcoming. The breakfast area was fully stocked and clean and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel has a clean exterior and lobby. The room was extremely small, but manageable. Doors open to exterior. The room had been made up, but not cleaned. The bed was soiled. Checked out and got money refunded.

This was the second time I stayed at this hotel. First time - no problem. This time, when I got into my room I found toothpaste and coffee in the sink. I called the front desk clerk and he asked if I would like to move to another room. I told him so long as it was cleaned up there would be no problem. Room service came immediately and cleaned off the bathroom area. I asked if the rest of the room was cleaned and she assured me it was taken care of. Since I didn't have time to check I left only to return much later in the evening. When I returned I pulled down the covers to find the most disgustingly stained comforter. Since it was late, I decided to wait till morning and just get in the other bed. I pulled down the covers of that bed only to discover soiled sheets. I called the front desk who sent up the security guard with new sheets, covers, pillows. Since there was no staff on that late in the evening, I had to make up my own bed. The next morning, I went downstairs to complain and was given my money back for the room. The Hampton has a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Room service came back in again for my final day and the room was spotless.

My wife and I spent 2 nights at the Hampton Inn Knoxville-I-75 North while in town for the LSU/UT football game.

Location: The hotel is 1/5 mile east of I-75 at the Merchants Road exit (no. 108 in both directions) from the freeway. The hotel is roughly 5 miles north of UT.

Rooms: The hotel is older but has been extremely well-maintained. Our room featured the Hampton bed which was very comfortable. The TV featured roughly 75-80 channels including HBO. Our room also had a mini-fridge. All doors face outside (i.e. no interior corridors) however we always felt very safe in our room and going to/from our car.

Breakfast: We enjoyed the breakfast each day. They had a nice selection of fresh fruit, cereal, breads, fresh donuts, & hot items. The seating area got a little crowded both days but we didn't mind walking back to our room to eat (they have some cardboard trays if you need some help).

Other: There are two computers in the lobby that are available for general use including printing. These were very convenient for checking into our flight on Sunday. There is an O'Charley's in the parking lot in front of the hotel and a few other restaurants across the street (all within walking distance).

For $98/night, my wife and I were very pleased with the Hampton Inn Knoxville-I-75 North.

We have stayed in many hotels around Knoxville for UT football games. This is simply the best. Great location, clean rooms, and a staff that has broken their neck for us. We won't stay anywhere else again.

  • Liked — The attitude of the staff
  • Disliked — Really, everything was fine
