We have been to UT games several times and stayed in various places each time. This is the best area and hotel for the price we have found. We will stay here again

The hotel was great. However we had a little bit of trouble with housekeeping. Since we didnt leave the hotel until noon, so we were told that housekeeping was gone for the day, so no clean room. Then the next morning we were woken up at 9 by housekeeping. I felt like it was not our place to have to leave the room or wake up early to have our room cleaned. Also the man at the desk was not helpful, and on his cell phone. The lady who checked us in was very friendly. We have 2 kids at UT and plan on coming to Knoxville qiuite a bit. We will stay here again. Just want a clean room.

This hotel is not a typical Ramada. Ramada hotels usually appear new and clean, but this one looks old and dirty, and worn-out. The rooms look like they have not been updated in years. The carpeting in our room had a large sticky patch near the refrigerator. The room furnishings and bathroom decor are old. The person at the front desk seemed to be the only employee at the hotel, and was too busy to bring us extra towels and a rollaway bed; we were only able to obtain these items by going downstairs and bringing them to our room ourselves.

The hallways and elevators are not air conditioned, which was an uncomfortable problem in the heat of the summer.

Overall, this hotel looks like a seedy motel bought by Ramada but not updated. It served its purpose for us, for the short amount of time that we needed a hotel in Knoxville, but we recommend against staying here for more than a night or two.

This is an old hotel that desperately needs some updating and TLC. The interstate is one side and Kingston Pike is on the other. If you go do not get a room on the interstate side or you will not sleep. There is still smoking at this hotel and it is supposed to be by floors but it could be smelled everywhere. The breakfast was terrible and the coffee undrinkable so this is no bonus to the traveler. The outdoor pool is nice and was a welcome retreat for our baseball team. The hotel actually ran out of towels! Some of the ones in our room looked like they came from a rag bag. One of the late night managers (an older large man) was EXTREMELY unpleasant. The bright spot was the housekeeping staff. Our room and bathroom were very clean. The ladies were very friendly and worked very hard. I don't think that I will ever stay there again.

Room Tip: Make sure the not stay on the interstate side

After driving 8 1/2 hours and arriving at 10pm on a Friday, we were greeted by the lovely Rachel. She first informed us that even though we had requested a cot upon making our reservation, they were all out. Then, when we [by we, I mean 5 people; 3 adults & 2 children] got to our room there were only two towels. I called lovely Rachel and requested three more towels only to hear..."nope, no towels." I asked her if I could speak with the manager and heard, "nope, no manager will be here till Monday." I then asked her if housekeeping could get us a few towels from a room that was not occupied and heard, "nope, no housekeeping here." As I went on to inform her of how disappointed we were with Ramada and that we had not even been there 1/2 an hour, she hung up! The next day when we called Orbitz, who we had booked the room through, when they called, they reached lovely Rachel who HUNG UP ON THEM TOO!! I must say, if I ever had thought of making another trip to Knoxville, Rachel has ruined it for me. We only stayed the one night as we were driving back to Florida.

Room Tip: Choose a different hotel.
