“Staff is wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

This is your standard updated Courtyard. 3 of us from work stayed 2 nights at the Cedar Bluff Courtyard. The staff went out of the way to make us feel at home. We spent a huge amount of time working in the lobby area. They made sure we had everything we needed. The staff really made us feel welcome and taken care of. The hotel is tucked back off the road, so it was very quite, which I loved. I will stay here again.

I stayed at this marriott for one night on 2/21 for business purposes. Check in was quick. Lobby has been updated to what you'd expect to see at a Courtyard. They had a nice sitting/cafe area in the lobby as well. the hotel is located in a business park, along side a springhill suites hotel. plenty of places to eat, including both fast food, restaurants, and a couple sport bar type establishments. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with flat screen TVs. The bathroom looked to be slightly dated. The hotel sits along side the highway, but even with my room facing the highway, I rarely noticed any traffic noise. Overall a nice property.

My husband and I drove back from Florida and knew we were going to stop in Knoxville for the night. I looked on line and read reviews and saw pictured and thought it was a good place and I was right. The lobby is wonderful very relaxing and has great snack food for a lite dinner and even has a small bar which is wonderful for a nice night cap. The hotel is easy to fiind off I 75 and a quiet area. A lot of great resturants around as well which is great for those traveling and stopping for the night. The hotel staff was very friendly and very helpful and always smiled. The best part is they serve Starbucks and make the special coffees there as well which was great that we did not have to stop, we ordered there and on the road we went. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The only thing I was sad about were the pillows, they were so hard, you got a lot of them on the king size bed but not a good one. Other then that, I would stay here again on our way back home from Florida.

Stayed here for 1 night on business travel. Ate as bar/restraunt area from dinner and breakfast, used WiFi.

Arrived late at night from meetings and would have been difficult to find without GPS since it is touched back away from interstate 75/40. Several hotels tucked in this area.

Dinning - Had a late meal at the Bistro bar area and food was very good. Selections here included many low calorie and healthy options. Breakfast was excellent and also included several healthy options in addtion to great breakfast sanwiches.

Staff - All staff I dealt with were very freindly and professional and always greated me with a smile.

Room - Nice size room (stayed in king) with good setup for business travels and very clean.

Lobby/Common Areas - Very clean, new and modern. Appears to be a very new hotel or they did an oustanding remodel. Nice layout with pleanty of seating.

If not for the locations being hard to find, would have given tit 5/5.

We have stayed at this Courtyard before and found it convenient to family members that live in Knoxville. The staff is friendly and the lobby is nice but feel the rooms need a little attention. The room was clean so have no complaints there but the sliding door going to the bathroom had a problem. Just feel it is not up to Marriott standards that we have become accustomed to. We will stay there whenever we are in Knoxville as it is not bad just feel it could be improved on.

We stayed here while passing through for the Thanksgiving weekend. The lobby is very trendy with updated decor. The employees were very helpful and friendly. My kids enjoyed the indoor heated pool and hot tub to themselves. There was a nice outdoor seating area with fire-pit. We didn't sit around it, but it was an option. The rooms were decent for our one night stay and the Bistro had Starbucks coffee. Overall- no complaints. We got this room free with my Marriott Rewards points. :)

Stayed here passing thru Knoxville and figured we couldn't go wrong with a Marriott. Don't get me wrong the place is not horrible, but if you are familiar with Marriott's quality, then you will undoubtedly be dissapointed. It's seemed to have been "fixed up" fairly recently but the craftsmanship was just ok. Room was clean enough to pass the barefoot test but barely. The worst part was the bed. These are NOT the cozy beds you expect from a Marriott. In fact it was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in, ever! Woke up stiff and sore all over, and very dissapointed. To top it off the breakfast isn't complimentary. Long story short, there are plenty of hotels close by, and I'd go somewhere else.
