“local flavor”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

well I guess its ok,, we came with 25 and the service was very good, wish I could say the same for the food. Very average,, chicken selections were just chicken soaked in whatever sauce, salmon was ok for Tennessee,, best were the burgers tho.

“South Florida style roadside cafe in Tennessee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

Cootie Brown's is a welcoming, young spirited place, very casual and reminiscent of a lot of laid back eateries in the florida keys. Outdoors are brightly painted picnic tables and a large selection of hot sauces for what is mostly tropical and mexican inspired fare. Good beer selection, too.

“This place makes me smile”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013 via mobile

This was our third trip to Cooties and it never disappoints. From the brightly colored outdoor metal flower sculptures, the brightly colored tables and chairs, and the extensive newspaper style menu, this place is quirky and fun. My husband loved his turkey sliders, I thought my grilled chicken sandwich with Swiss cheese was very good, the home made potato chips terrific and the key lime cookie so yummy we bought some more to take home- and I don't usually even like key lime!

I have been told this is the place. Not by my standards. Flies/gnats expensive, really very over rated. Much better places to eat.

“Soup”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

Went to this restaurant today for lunch and was very well priced, waiter was very nice, atmosphere was good as well, however I got a house salad which was great but also got a cup of Texas chili..Thought it would be something like regular Wendy's kinda like chili but tasted like Canned Castleberry chili..sickening..Then I replaced it for to tomato basil and it tasted like it had be cooked, burned and reheated..Just want this restaurant to know if they are gonna serve this kind of chili, (like hot dog chili) then get Food City,(Food Club brand) and only cost less than a buck, tastes like real home made hot dog chili.. and for the tomato basil don't recook it and maybe add a little more water..was more like paste than soup..Just need to let you know this because a little improvement in your soup area and things there will be so much better!
