We chose this hotel b/c we were in the Nashville area overnight and it had the best deal for points we had accumulated on a week-long stay at a Country Inn and Suites in San Diego. It also had the best TA rating of Country Inn and Suites in the Nashville area.
The location was about 15 minutes north of downtown Nashville. The hotel is a little hard to find once you get off the exit. Our GPS had us wandering for awhile in the adjacent mall area. Here's a hint: coming of I-65, turn left at the light just beyond the Vietnam Veterans Highway OVERPASS AND go around the bend, left then right at Hooters. The hotel is tucked away on a dead end street, not visible from the highway. It's right there, just invisible to strangers. Once we found it, we had no trouble relocating it.
The advantage of this tucked in location is that it is quiet without a lot of traffic passing by. The property was newish and clean. Our room was not a suite...just a king in a sparsely furnished room (looked like they could've fit another king in there, so there was lots of space for the two easy chairs and small table.) We were grateful for the mini-fridge and microwave in the room and the flat screen TV. Bathroom was ok: Clean and adequate. Nothing special. Great free WiFi, no login/password hassle.
There are lots of families with kids here. We heard some stomping, kid hijinks from the room above us till about 10, when they got settled. Not enough to report, especially when they calmed down at a decent hour. I guess I would recommend a top story room, since the only noise we heard was from above, not from our adjacent neighbors.
We had breakfast at the well maintained, clean and roomy breakfast room. Good coffee, waffles, chicken patties, biscuits, juices, sausage gravy, oatmeal in crockpot (watery), yogurt in a common bowl, toast, muffins, bagels, cold cereals bananas, and juice. I missed lean protein choices. It seemed suited to families with kids.
Desk service was friendly and efficient. The area around the hotel is typical mall/interstate "strip" with lots of chain restaurant choices and baffling traffic patterns. (We had supper at an O'Charley's not a half mile from the hotel.)
The location is only 10-30 minutes from anywhere you want to be in Nashville. Fine for a utilitarian, not necessarily luxurious, stay.
