September 25-28, 2006 – I spent three nights at the Comfort Suites Hotel in Goodlettsville for business and the stay was good.

Check-in was prompt and my reservation was in order. I received a non-smoking king suite as reserved. My room was #211, facing the back with some noise from Interstate 65. The rate for my room was $79.95 per night. Taxes brought the total to $93.75 per night.

The suite was clean and unlike my previous stay did not smell of smoke which I had worried about. The suite was in good condition even though I feel that the décor is very dated. The only problem I had is that when I got into the shower the the first morning I realized that the shower head was missing. I reported it to the front desk and it was replaced before I returned in the evening.

The sitting area had a queen-size sofa bed as well as a desk and the coffee/wet bar with refrigerator, sink and microwave oven. Lighting was acceptable.

The hotel offers complimentary high speed wired and wireless internet access. It connected quickly and worked perfectly even with our company’s VPN. Signal strength in the living room was “very good.”

The bedroom area had a king-size bed, two night stands and the dresser with TV on top. The TV had a very large selection of cable channels. The bed was comfortable. The three pillows were foam so I was glad that I remembered to bring a feather pillow.

The bathroom had a combination tub and shower with a new-style shower rod that bows outward to give more room in the shower. Water pressure was high and it was easy to get the right temperature. The hotel offers bath amenities including: soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. The white towels were fresh and thick.

The complimentary breakfast was average! The hot items were sausage and biscuits and make-your-own waffles. Boiled eggs fruit, cereals, oatmeal packets, yoghurt, bagels and toast were also offered.

Right off the lobby is a small area with a computer and printer for guests to use without charge. There is also complimentary coffee and cookies in the lobby. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool spa, neither of which I had the time to use.

The hotel is located right off I65 at Rivergate Parkway. Rivergate Mall is about ½ mile away and the area has a large variety of restaurants. We had early morning flights and it only took 25 minutes to get back to Nashville airport at 6:00 A.M.

In my opinion Comfort Suites Hotel in Goodlettsville is clean and the service is good. The location is convenient if staying North of Nashville is a consideration.

We stayed at Comfort Suites while attending a major car show in June, 2006. We couldn't have asked for a better hotel starting with the polite staff at the front desk all the way down to the incredible staff that cleans the rooms. A nice, clean hotel. The rooms are large and clean, the pool was very clean ~ there's even an onsite washer and dryer! I highly recommend this hotel, we will be back next year!

Nice hotel. The people at the front desk were very friendly. The pool is large and heated. The spa was a very, very hot (MUCH hotter than we keep ours at home which is 102) which was kind of disappointing but the pool was great. The rooms are large and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean. Highway noise is an issue at this hotel simply b/c of its proximity to the interstate. Breakfast was excellent-both hot and cold choices. Overall a very nice hotel and a great value.

Large indoor pool, great for kids. Rooms are larger than traditional hotel room and bathroom was very clean!
