My husband and I frequented this restaurant several years ago, but for whatever reason, we haven't been in quite some time. After our meal last night, we are asking ourselves WHY we stopped going. Our server was attentive, pleasant and timed out the food delivery perfectly. You could also tell from her interaction with surrounding customers that she truly enjoyed her job. Our dinner included the Penne Calabrese Arrabiata and the Filleto di Vincenzo (beef tenderloin wrapped with pancetta, pan seared with a mushroom demi-glace and served over angel hair pasta in a pesto cream sauce). Both were superb! After a meal like that, there was certainly no room left for dessert, but I cannot walk out of this restaurant without having the caramel pie...so we got it to go! :)
It is difficult to find good restaurants in Memphis without traveling all the way downtown. Our city is overrun with chain restaurants so I love to patronize restaurants like Brooklyn Bridge. We will certainly be visiting with the Correale family more often!
