“OK but nothing special”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2012

Safe & clean but kind of dated for the rate. Breakfast is standard fare and coffee is not very good at all.

This motel is located away from Memphis and offered a number of near by restaurants and highway access to Memphis City. Germantown is a relatively a safe environment.

The motel had been reonvated several years ago and was ready to be renovated again. The rooms and hallways were tired looking and dingy. The complementary breakfast was similar to other Comfort Inns' and unremarkble. (Great Perkins Restaurant across the street).

The motel did offer good value for the money but ask for a room on the back side away from the Wolf River Blvd, multi lane roadway.

There is noting really wrong at this motel, but I just wasn't happy here. First the good: It has a good location close to restaurants and businesses. The front desk people were nice and accommodating. The room was clean and well maintained. The bad: The room was small. I was there with my adult son so we had 2 queen beds. There wasn't much room to move around. The drawer on the dresser kept getting stuck which was frustrating, The tub and toilet were in one small bathroom with the mirror and sink outside. Right behind the sink were the microwave and fridge. It felt cramped and crowded. There isn't a separate closet which meant there wasn't a place for us to put our suitcases when not in use. The worst part was that the second night they had numerous youth baseball teams check in. It was VERY noisy with kids running in the halls, coaches talking, etc. I think the kids in the room above ours were bouncing on the beds. There isn't much the motel could do about that, but if they had put us on the top floor to begin with, we wouldn't have had to deal with it. We also couldn't get a seat at breakfast.

Room Tip: See if they have youth sports teams checking in while you will be there. If so find some place else...

Had a decent stay here for two nights while visiting the area. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The room itself was fairly clean but I did notice multiple hairs on the blanket under the comforter. The pillows were smaller than what I expected. My room faced Wolf River Blvd and the road was load during the day but quiet at night. The free breakfast was ok. I have had better at other hotels.

The area seemed relatively safe. My wife drove around at night while I was at a meeting. We both explored Germantown the next day followed by visiting downtown Memphis. I would stay here again depending on the rate/deals available.

This motel in a good location, and preferable to staying in downtown Memphis. Motel is secure, and clean, although rooms do smell "damp". Lovely swimming pool, complimentary internet, and a good breakfast are all included in the room rate, which was great value. Good laundry facilities are also available at the motel.

This is a perfectly serviceable location if you have loved ones in a nearby hospital. The staff is very, very helpful. The plain truth is that the building is old. There is a distinct smell of mold in at least one guest room (mine). The air conditioning is very poor and the property is not in a very desirable location. I stayed at this location because I had no choice. There are too many others nearby to stay here again.

We stayed at this facility 1 night. The room was clean and had small refridgerator and microwave. A flat screen tv was also nice. Hotel has 3 floors with an elevator. Staff was friendly. This hotel has indoor pool and hot tub. It is close to shopping with a Walgreens and a Perkins restaurant across the street. Germantown is a very nice community in Memphis and the hotel and surrounding area was quiet and well maintained. Got a rate of $71 for the night which was good. Good hot breakfast with biscuits and gravy; sausage, eggs, and assorted fruits, cereals, and beverages. All in all, a very nice stay.
