“Best Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013

We stayed here for only one night but could have stayed all week. Our room was large, we had the 2 room suite(Highly recommend) and the bed was very comfortable. Our view was of the roof but that did not bother us plus we were traveling with our dog and believe the 2nd floor is the designated floor for pets. They provided a nice grassy area for pets along with bags and a waste can. You don't always get that. I loved the free breakfast, which had a decent variety. The free hot food in the evening was good. We also received vouchers for free wine or beer for the evening, which was perfect after a long days drive. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. It was nice to have free parking and Wi-Fi too. The pool and hot tub looked great and would have loved to use them. We were excited to see that there was a restaurant/brewery being built that was attached to the hotel, that will be a nice addition once completed. We will definitely stay here again.

This may be one of the best hotels I have stayed in around this area.
As they say the extras are not extra - and you get a lot for your money - compared to say hotels in Nashville. For a start many hotels in Nashville want you to spend around $26 a night for vallet parking (and you may feel compelled to tip the guy who gets the car). Parking is free here.
There is an indoor/outdoor pool, which is nice and a small high-tech gym.
The wireless internet is very good in this hotel. I just performed a speed test (and bear in mind I am on the 10th floor) and I got 12Mbps down and 10Mbps up. When I first stayed here I am sure I saw a 30Mbps download. And the network seems to work all over the hotel. Whether I was in my room, the gym, or in the eating area or in the elevator - I could stream netflix on my phone wherever I was. Now try doing that in the hotels in Nashville - for no extra charge.
The rooms are modern and nice. There is a microwave oven and a fridge. I did not notice any loud fridge noise like you get sometimes. There is a large flat screen TV. The shower is quite nicely designed. Bed is very comfortable with plenty of pillows! There is also a coffee maker - so bring some water with you.
The complementary breakfast has been nice. Some hotels in nashville charge almost $20 or more for breakfast. The lack of bacon as others have noticed is a shame, but it was nice to get some hot food inside me in the morning. They did have ham bits with cheese...
The kickback was nice. A few free bar drinks with a light meal from the buffet. I had baked potato every night with various additions. There are also bar snacks. This would probably set you back around $20 in a normal bar. They are building a resturant & brewary that joins onto the hotel, so that would be a bonus in the future if you wanted a proper meal and all.
And there are free long distant calls, which I used to phone my wife a few times.
In this stay I did not venture out of the hotel in the evenings as everything was here. For a business trip this is a very suitable hotel. Recommended.

Room Tip: You coulod ask for a room that is not facing the I65. The noise is not great, but if you are sensiti...

Booked 3 rooms in December for a family get together. Phenomenal!!. The hotel is beautiful, located close to many local attractions. Easy access to the interstate for excursions into Nashville. The amenities were plentiful. The indoor/outdoor heated pool. The free breakfast bar buffets, and the dinner buffets, and the free drinks for the whole family. Five children in the group and they were content the entire 3 days. They even grouped together on the couch in one of the lounge areas after breakfast on Saturday morning and watched cartoons! What more can parents and Grandparents ask for! The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays throughout. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. All the staff were very friendly from check in at the front desk, housekeeping, the staff at breakfast and dinner. We will be recommending and when able returning!. The attached restaurant Granite City was not opened yet but we really didn't miss it. The staff apologized for this several times but we were very happy with the hotel, and visiting local business.
Now the price. They are priced average to the other hotels to their rating in the area. However their website had links to several discounts and we were able to get our rooms at a much lower price and that was the ribbon on this whole package. Highly, Highly recommended!!

We stayed here for business training three days. Our training was actually held on the 11th floor down the hall from our room. The staff were all very sweet and polite. Complimentary breakfast was fresh and hot, but sausage every day got a little old. Alternating with bacon would have been nice. Free popcorn daily from 3-10 was a great snack waiting for the 5:30 kickback which includes a variety of dinner type foods and alcoholic beverages of some sort. We had chicken tenders, Mac & cheese, chips/salsa, nachos, hot dogs, baked potato, salad. So much more than we could have ever expected. It was nice that they offered these meals to be purchased by non-guests who might have come to visit and wanted to stay for dinner. This is the only place we'll stay in the area!

Room Tip: Hotel is right off I-65 but didn't notice highway noise at all. Our room faced south towards hig...

We stay at Drury Inn throughout the country quite often, but this one tops them all. It was an exceptional stay. It is new and clean, the amenities are superb, and the staff quite helpful and friendly. The evening "kick back" and the hot breakfast make this one of the best bargains around. We'll definitely recommend the Drury Plaza in Franklin Tn. to anyone.

Rooms are wonderful, a micro and a mini fridge in every room. The TV channels are plentiful (I really like that)!... There is a "kick back" in the evening that includes a complete dinner (with soup and salad)... and 3 free drinks! The place is brand new and beautiful... staff is helpful and smiling all the time. I would def recommend!

Breakfast is good too!

Room Tip: I stayed on the 9th floor, great view!

I stay with Drury Quite a bit in the Midwest But this is the cream of the crop from the front office staff to the Decor. Absolutely the nicest hotel in cool springs. I Usually stay at the Embassy suites But not anymore. Thank you for a great stay!
