“Amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

This was absolutely amazing. We were greeted with friendly staff, FREE Parking (but that also means there is no bel-hop to help with the bags). The rooms ere super clean and beds very comfortable. They are eco-friendly so they have the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel dispenser on the wall of the shower--never run out!!!!
They have a great breakfast buffet with make your own waffles and several other great options.
Also at 5:30 every evening they have a "Kickback" with tonssssss of food and drinks (we got a punch card for 1 mixed drink/day). I recommend the Kimberly's Kreation (i named it while I was there) Nachos, Hot Dogs, Mac N Cheese, Baked Potatoes, Soup, Popcorn just to name a few.
The pool is indoor and heated--Good Size
The staff is super amazing and will help you anything and everything.
Beware--it just opened so google maps and your gps will take you up on a mountain of some sort. It is right off the freeway!!!!!!!

Stayed here based on trip advisor reports and they were right, this is a great place to stay (albeit it is only 2 months old). Greeted with a warm and welcoming hello (I think her name was Alana) and had all the hotels amenities explained which was free WiFi, hot breakfast (which was real good except no bacon!?!?!?) and they had free hot food that night and 3 free drinks! The food included soup, salad, pasta and meatballs, hot dogs and nachos. If you don’t want to eat at the hotel (they are actually in the process of adding a restaurant to the hotel) there is a plethora of hotels and shopping (from a mall to WalMart/Sam’s Club within 2 miles) to visit instead. This hotel is conveniently located right off the highway, you can see it from the Hwy so it’s easy to find, clean, comfortable and loaded with friendly people, the place to stay when in Tn.

This was my first experience staying at a Drury Hotel and I now know what people mean when they say "it's a great place to stay." We were always greeted whenever we walked through the lobby. The decor throughout is beautiful. It is a brand new hotel (ribbon-cutting held while I was there) so I expected the facility to be outstanding, but the services were exceptional. The dining staff (both breakfast and evening) was amazing. They were attentive and friendly. One morning the chef made us fresh pancakes because he didn't like the ones in the warmer. There was plenty of seating in the dining area. Our room was kept clean and stocked with fresh towels during our week long visit. I was, however, surprised by the number of dogs in the hotel during our visit. A great place.

We were sort of looking for a last minute place to stay since we were wanting to stay in the Nashville area for a couple days just to get away. I am so glad we were advised about this hotel. Even though it is still fairly pretty new; it was VERY clean and has a very professional atmosphere. I am usually pretty nit picky when it comes to hotels on the niceness and cleanliness level and I have to say I was very impressed! Our room was very nice with an awesome view and the staff was all very friendly and courtious. This stay is well worth the price, you will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 10th floor and it had a wonderful view!

Like others have said, don't trust your GPS for this hotel. It put us in the middle of a small road with tons of hairpin turns and no lights!

We only stayed in this hotel one night while making a cross country trip. We called very late at night and were given a great rate (about $85/night) and were shocked to hear that included a full hot breakfast!

When we called, we explained we were traveling with young children and requested that the crib be set up before our arrival. We planned on getting in around midnight and hoped for a smooth transition. Unfortunately, the crib wasn't set up and it took about 15-20 minutes for housekeeping to get it to us. Not a huge deal but it could have been easier.

On first glance, the rooms were nice and clean. I admit fully to being a clean freak when it comes to hotels so, upon further inspection, I wasn't trilled to find a large black stain on the white comforter. Again, that could be remedied by removing it. There were other stains in the bathroom (I prefer not to think too hard about their origin) that were harder to get past. However, it was so late and we needed to rest so we didn't say anything.

Our neighbors on both sides were extremely loud through the entire night and didn't quit until about 9am. It seemed as if there were a lot of young people in the hotel so maybe they were sports teams or something. Again, something we chose to live with. Our kids woke up several times because of it though.

Breakfast was really nice. Waffles, pancakes, eggs, toast, oatmeal etc. It's certainly hard to beat for the price. The pool and fitness rooms looked updated and clean but we didn't have a chance to use them.

Overall it was an "ok" hotel but I didn't see the hospitality or cleanliness that was cause for all of the 5 star ratings on this forum. We would probably choose elsewhere if traveling through the area again.

On behalf of the entire team at the Drury Plaza Franklin, Thanks for choosing our hotel for your family’s stay during what I am sure was a much needed vacation. Responses like yours help us in our constant pursuit of a flawless stay for every guest every time. I do understand that GPS devices such as “Tom Tom” have not been updated with many locations on the very new McEwen Drive where the property is located. This is certainly an inconvenience to many of our guests and something that our Internet team is working diligently to get solved. Any guest request should most certainly be fulfilled prior to checking in to the guest room. I am embarrassed that your crib was not available when you arrived in the room; as a parent with small children I certainly understand the frustration that this must have caused. We will be certain to do follow up training with our Guest Service staff. Please also allow me to apologize for the stain on your sheet. Drury Plaza Franklin does not use comforters on our beds and every sheet is laundered between each guest. I will make certain that this stain is addressed with our housekeeping team and we will again use your feedback to train and continue to hold our Team accountable to very high standards of Drury.

Drury Plaza Franklin and all Drury Hotels are dedicated to providing a relaxing, quiet, clean and safe environment for all of our guests. I want to thank you again for your great feedback, and I hope that we can get another opportunity to host you and your family , so that we can show that what you experienced not the service you should expect at the Drury Plaza Franklin.

We stayed here for four nights on a visit to the Nashville area, basing our decision on the favorable ratings on this hotel. They were right on! The hotel is new, spotless, and has the most friendly staff that I have experienced in a long, long time! Breakfast is very well done with multiple persons serving. Silverware and china are used and the servers are dressed in white, to include a chef's hat! Expect one to drop by your table to offer assistance and to offer pleasant conversation. Parking is convenient. The elevators are fast and always available within a few seconds. Comfortable beds, wide viewing windows, excellent temperature control, etc. all make this a great stay. There are plenty shopping opportunities a short distance away, including Walmart, Sams, etc. There's also a good selection of eating spots. We'll be back when we return to Franklin again!
