“Good value for the money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2009

This was our first stay at a Homestead Studio Suites and they made a good impression. The room was nice and clean and very spacious with the kitchen and extra sitting area. My only complaint was the bed was very firm, however, there were plenty of pillows and extra blankets. It was about a quarter mile from the Cool Springs Galleria - so if you are looking for a hotel in this area this is a good location. This room was half the price of the other hotels in the area and I didn't feel like we made a bad decision by staying here. One last thing, it is very close to the interstate and you could here the traffic when the TV is off. We live on a busy street ourselves so it was not a problem for us.

Okay, in Marietta, GA we had a king suite, but this queen room was smaller than a standard hotel/motel room. Once we opened the suitcases, we lost more than half the floor space, Had problems finding the cups/ plates (under the combination eating bar/desk instead of in a cabinet over the sink...); no TV channel listing guide, so had to surf and guess; bathroom could have been cleaner (corners and edges pretty "gray" looking); towels worked great for exfoliating (if you get my drift); and only two flat pillows on the bed. Not what we were expecting after the wonderful experience with a Homestead in Marietta!
Tip: eat at the Buca di Beppo Italian restaurant across the interstate - you won't be disappointed with the food, staff, or the atmosphere!

At least for me, it was just fine. Room was clean - was true that security bolt on door could have been better but worked and I felt secure. Front desk not only called to make sure my room was OK but, when I asked where nearest grocery store was, desk clerk knocked on my 2nd-floor door with a map of 82 eateries and groceries. Unusual service at this type of hotel and price point. Cool Springs is a giant complex of office buildings, hotels, a mall, strip shopping retail, and restaurants. If you have a reason to be in this part of metro Nashville and understand the Extended Stay chain mentality (no bellhops, no breakfast, no shampoo, and no daily cleaning) I'd give this one a try.

I booked my stay at Homestead with Priceline. It was a little scary since I had never done that before. They pick the location for the price you offer. But I choose a 2 star Hotel and wanted it cheep....And that is what I got. It was nice to see that the hotel was only 3.5 miles away from the location that I requested and the hotel was in a nice area around much shopping. Since we looking for low cost it was nice to have a kitchen in the room. We were able to save more money by preparing our own meals. the room appeared to be clean. wireless internet was only 5.00 more for our stay. We were pleased with the visit. No shampoo was a surprise. but we asked the front desk and they had that for us.

Clean, spacious, and above all great service. We decided to try this hotel out, thankfully we were treated like family. We were in town with two motorcycles for the hospital benefit ride. We arrived several hours early but were given a room right away. This is right next to the highway but its quiet because of all the trees surrounding the hotel. The second shift manager went above his job and let us use his car to try and jumpstart the bike when the battery decided to die. THanks to the the staff a two day battle with fixing the bike was made a little easier. We would definitely stay here again.

After a long nights drive, I arrived at the hotel and noticed the room had a musty smell and the bed was lopsidded. Then my daughter went to the restroom and she informed me that there was hair on the commode, in the sink, and on the floor. When I looked in the restroom there was enough hair to make a weave. It was sickening.

We were visiting Nashville for our vacation and chose to stay in Franklin because we have friends that live there. Not only was it good to be close to them, but Franklin is a wonderful town and there are a million shopping places & restaurants right next door to this hotel. Plus it was only a 15 minute drive to downtown Nashville. We booked this on Priceline and when we checked into the hotel, they told us that they had sold out of our room category and we were upgraded to a more deluxe room (I think the only difference was that we paid for a queen bed and got a king) The room was clean and nice, the kitchenette was great, but not stocked very well - only one spoon and we had to buy our own dish soap (to keep washing that one spoon!) If we visit Nashville again in the near future, we wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel again.
