We have stayed here before and it will always be our choice when visiting family there.
The staff is five star! The rooms are 5 star! The breakfast is the best of any Included breakfasts! The beds are oh so comfortable! The location is also very convenient to highways, food, shopping, downtown Franklin as well as to Nashville.

This Hyatt Place is comparable to others I've stayed in. Design, decor and room set up are modern.

What I don't understand with Hyatt Place is why the bathrooms are SO small. With the large size of the room, you'd think they could use some of that space to make a bigger bathroom.

Service was great and the extensive breakfast is better than many.

We got a great price through a third-party site, so no complaints about the value. Overall we'd stay here again.

Do not stay at this hotel. The main lobby is all that is nice about this place. You can hear your neighbors in and out of their rooms. The room smells like stale carpet cleaner. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling. The coffee at breakfast might have been the most awful ever. The front desk was no help in trying to figure out if any of the food was allergy safe. The plates and glasses were dirty and suppose to be clean. I have had a good stay with the Hyatt in the past, but it would not take much to top this place. stay somewhere else. Residence Inn Marriott is close by, we stayed there on the way down and here on the way back (bc the Marriott was booked). I wished that we had been able to stay with Marriott on this night. It is a far better place to stay with an awesome staff!

Room Tip: Save yourself the hassle. Don't stay here.

Open the front door - WOW! BIG livable area! Airy, bright, comfortable looking, so much area to relax with sectional sofa (with hidden bed), really BIG new TV that swings for viewing in either sofa area or bed area. The Suite is impressive - - UNTIL you try to close the door between toilet/shower tub room and main Suite. Even with my 6'3", thin bodied, long legged stature - you have to Hurdle or straddle one leg between the toilet and tub and scoot your other foot between toilet and wall - - to close the bath door - WHAT! The bath door is so wide, there's only 1" between toilet bowl and door. If you're in some type of hurry, as my wife always seems to be, I suggest giving yourself several minutes of yoga exercise, before trying to close the bath door.
One tripAdvisor described the breakfast as Hoo-Hum. I ALMOST agree, even though the menu is way above any free hotel breakfast, I've ever encountered. My suggestion to the kitchen people - STEAM TABLE, covered, LABELED presentation. The steam will keep the 'breaded matter' that's below the colorful, time taking entree from turning into a hockey puck.
Would I stay at this Hyatt Place again - YUP!
PLEASE NOTE - all of the above is not taking into consideration, the price of the room. I had a Corporate Rate, which was about 1/3rd the rate that others were paying = over $220 a weekday night.

We're a family of four (teenage kids) and like to spread out in a hotel room. We wanted to give Hyatt Place hotels a try, despite that fact that there is no bedroom door to separate it from the "living area." For a night or two, this isn't a big deal, and the room is very well layed out.
The king bed had fitted sheets, nice touch; the bed itself was incredibly comfortable, and the sheets stayed put. The windows open! If only it hadn't been 95 degrees out...a/c worked very well.
Check-in was quick and friendly; the lobby area has a Starbucks-like display case with different food choices available for purchase, and there is also a bar that was open until midnight. If we didn't have another day of driving ahead of us, we would have had a drink.
The only thing I would say was missing from the well-appointed room is a microwave, but there is one in the lobby that is available for use.
Hyatt Place has a business feel to it. We saw very few children (though we were there on a weekday, so maybe that's why). The breakfast in the morning was not crowded at all (again, a weekday), and well-stocked with some dry cereal, bagels and bread with a toaster, grits, yogurt. Something for everyone in my family.
We really were impressed with our first taste of Hyatt Place, and at this particular hotel we felt well taken care of.

I have stayed at this place for some time (business travel). Rooms are great, service is great. The TVs are huge! Love the layout. I dont enjoy the air conditioner in the room (too powerful and cold), but that is easily fixed (by turning it off). Great place in the mornings, they serve a free breakfast. The fitness room is small, but accomodating. Easy access to the Cool Springs mall and I65.

Room Tip: The King bed rooms are a bit smaller than the double bed rooms.

Very nice hotel. Free breakfast includes cereal, bagels, and juice. Room was large and nicely decorated and included a large flat screen tv. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: I placed bid on Priceline got it for $75/night.
