We were in Franklin to visit family, and booked a room at the Hampton Inn and Suites. I'd originally booked a room with two doubles, hoping to get a rollaway cot for my daughter once we checked in. Andre was working the front desk, and he explained we couldn't fit a rollaway into the room we'd originally booked, so instead, he upgraded us to a king suite (with room for that rollaway) at no extra charge! That was such a nice surprise! We then went to visit with family and didn't return until late that evening. Based on previous experiences at other hotels, I'd anticipated the rollaway wouldn't be in the room, and that we'd have to visit the front desk again to check on it. But I was wrong--the rollaway was right where it should be, which was fantastic, given that our kids were exhausted after a busy day and night with family. The hotel was quiet, our room was very clean and spacious, and even had a small kitchenette, which was a nice bonus given our eldest child's food allergy--and our need to prepare a little food for her in the morning. The hotel has a nice breakfast bar in the morning, too, FWIW. My son really enjoyed the waffle making station. We're in Franklin several times a year to visit family, so I suspect we'll be regulars at the Hampton Inn from this point forward. A special thanks to Andre, too, for his kindness and great service!
