“Very Good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

Burger, chili, potato soup, fried green tomatoes, collards and iced tea were all very good and made from scratch. Place was very clean and the service was very good. Quite unexpected to find such a good restaurant in middle of nowhere. We will stop here again the next time in the area.

“Southern cooking, clean restaurant, great value”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2013

We went on a Wednesday night which was wing night and my friend said they were great. 50 cents each. I had soup and salad bar which was very nice and fresh. The other 2 people had meatloaf with 2 sides. Everything was prepared fresh (not canned) and was not overly salty since I don't like a lot of salt like you find in many restaurants in the South. They had the homemade mashed potatoes and gravy and fried okra. Corn on the cob was deep fried which was a little unusual. They liked it. Couldn't believe it when the check came and it was only $15 per couple. That was per couple.

I know they have different daily specials and get a good crowd during the week which is unusual in the country on a weeknight. The place was very clean and the service was excellent. Would go back again.

“Great surprise in the middle of nowhere!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2012 via mobile

After rafting the Ocoee, we were very hungry, but the food choices were limited. Took a chance on the Copper Kettle and glad we did. Although it was within minutes of their afternoon closing time, they welcomed us in. Three of us had the buffet and the meats (meatloaf, fried chicken, pot roast, fried fish) were fresh and tasty. The green beans were very good; although a few more warm vegetable choices would have been nice. Our fourth had the fried green tomato BLT - also very tasty.

We will definitely return the next time we go rafting!

“Lucky Us”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2012

My wife and I were traveling through on vacation and looking for a local restaurant for lunch. Her "smart phone" found this place on US Hwy 64 and I'm glad we did. They have a lunch buffet that looked very good. We chose from their menu. My hamburger was excellent and had been made from local meat in the restaurant that day. It had a thick slice of a locally grown fresh tomato on it. My wife's grilled chicken was cooked to perfection, and the salad fresh. The staff was extremely friendly and I loved the sports memorabilia around the cash register. The prices were very reasonable.

“Pricey and average at best”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2012

This place changes hands every couple of years and ends up back in the Brothers clutches. It doesn't matter who's running the place, none of them ever seemed to have heard of a spice.Always bland food no matter who runs it.
