Buckley was a great rafting guide. His real name is Artéd, so don't listen to him if he says otherwise.

“Rafting + Ziplining : Pierce, Cory and Chad Rock!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

We went for rafting and Ziplining on September 3. We were delayed at Gatlinburg and arrived at Raft one very late. The Raft one crew members were very understanding and helped us out and worked with us on rescheduling the activities.

Pierce was our rafting guide. He was very calm and friendly and made our rafting experience very enjoyable.

I would like to thank Cory and Chad our Ziplining guides. They were super Awesome!

“Excellent rafting trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

Matt G was our raft guide and he did everything he could to make sure we had the best trip. He was very informative and made sure we were prepared before we started our trip and while on the river he would give us any information as we came to each rapid. We were a family of 5 adults and we all agreed that we had a GREAT time and it was the BEST trip and a highlight to our vacation.

“A fun and friendly Ocoee rafting experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

Our daughter wanted to take a group of friends rafting for her 13th birthday. After calling two outfitters with an unfriendly vibe, I called Raft One and spoke with Brent. Raft One is the way to go if you want to go rafting on the Ocoee! We had an awesome time even though it was a damp, cool day. Sliding down the bottom side of the raft was a blast! Our group split into two rafts. Our guides, Will and Chad, made the trip more exciting for the girls that were more adventurous and toned it down for the not-so-adventurous. Well done guys! We will be back when the warm weather returns and look forward to rafting the upper section. Thanks Raft One!

“Rapids & Water Slide & Riding the bull”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

I've white water rafted before but RaftOne was a completely different experience because they really went out of their way to make sure we squeezed every last thrill outta that Ocoee River. The rapids are class 4 (the highest class you can experience commercially) so they were amazing on their own but the best part was when we parked ourselves near a big rock and flipped the raft over to make a water slide! That was unexpected and awesome. Even my boyfriend's 60-year-old dad tried the water slide. Request Will for a tour guide. He was super knowledgeable and gave us facts about the river the whole way down (A nearly two hour trip). We told Will we wanted as wild experience as possible so if we didn't hit a particular rapid hard enough, he'd have us paddle back and hit it again. Towards the end of the trip, one of us got to "Ride the bull" by sitting on the front tip of the raft through the last big rapid. It was great. Afterwards, we were hoping to find some bar we had heard about that had a line down the inside separating Georgia and Tennessee. The Georgia side was in a dry county so you could supposedly only drink on the Tennessee side. Will was the only person who knew what we were talking about when we asked about the bar (Patrick's Pub) and he pointed us in the right direction.
