“Nicely done, humorous”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013

This is a very nice couple of hour stop. We did this on our way to check out the nearby lake. The lake was kind of disappointment if you cannot get out on it, but this was good. It all looks new and it is interesting for the kids. The short video on the plant tour is also worth it. This is all free. The gift shop is also nice. They also have a cafe which we did not try out.

“Great Lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013

What a treat! Loved my lunch, Country Fried Steak, very generous serving, super sweet potatoe fries! We shared a piece of PEANUT BUTTER PIE! Oh so good! Price is right.

“Bad food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

Meatloaf was extremely dry and not very tasty; rolls were blah, we took 2 desserts home - bean/pecan pie - not very good and the buttermilk pie was not good either.

“Very Interesting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

We decided to visit the Bush Bean visitor center in Dandridge, TN which is near the Smoky Mountain area. It was so interesting. You view 2 different short movies. The first movie is on how Bush Beans got started and how the processing plant works. Really, it's not boring! The second short movie is with Duke, the dog, and how grilling got started back in the cave man days and has progressed through the decades. They have a nice little museum where you can weigh yourself in "beans." Also, you can get a FREE photo of yourself or group with various backgrounds like with Duke the dog. There is also a little shop and great little country cafe where the food is good and prices are reasonable. Everyone there was so friendly. I would definitely recommend a visit here while you are in the area for something just a little different.

“Off the beaten path, and worth it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

If you're in the Sevierville area visiting, definitely make your way over to have a piece of Pecan Pie and to tour the visitors center. It's a clean and very interesting place. My family and I love stopping by to browse and eat in the restaurant. Great place and LOVE the free picture with magically placed in the background. Great for kids.
