I recently stayed at the La Quinta Inn, which is Spanish for "Saving Your Life". My wife and I were traveling around the country for a month visiting friends and family, and we picked this hotel based on our friends' recommendation. They had told us how the hotel's staff was committed to community service and had helped out with the recent Relay for Life to raise money. Since my wife is a breast cancer survivor, we wanted to stay at the property for that reason alone. Our stay was very pleasant, but what really made the hotel stand apart from the others we'd stayed at was the staff, especially the housekeepers that cleaned our room. In our hurry to reach our next destination, I had accidently left $500 in cash in our room. Others might have been tempted to take the money and pretend they hadn't found it, but this housekeeper immediately reported finding the cash to her manager, who promptly called me to let me know. I was so awed and thankful for the way it was handled because believe me, it could have taken weeks to get the matter resolved. Instead of my reporting the missing cash, the hotel had taken the initiative to report it to me. Thank you for hiring such excellent and honest staff. You all definitely saved my life and hours of nagging from my loving wife for my forgetfulness! We will definitely be back soon!
