“Horrible experience”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2011

Staff is horrible in the breakfast area. Staff is rude. In fact, this is the worst hotel I've been in for the price. At most, the laundry staff and the maintenance crew were the only helpful people that they have. Customer service sucks and if I could find another hotel in the middle of this trip, I would surely change my location. The eggs were green. The links were not cooked thoroughly. When I tried to complain there was nothing but excuses. Will never stay here again.

Disgusting bathrooms, thin mattresses, lukewarm coffee for breakfast. I am shocked that there is even one positive review. At $89, their "great low rate" as the desk clerk liked to mention ad nauseum, it is one of the worst values anywhere. At checkin, the "great low rate" for the person ahead of me was $69...still to much. 2 of our 4 rooms were ignored for maid service and in response to a call, they brought us 4 towels for each room. It was embarassing to be treated so poorly. Do your homework and stay somewhere else.

I don't understand all the rave reviews about this hotel because it is far from exceptional. The brightest spot was the staff. Dave at the front desk was extremely helpful and made wonderful recommendations regarding restaurants and area attractions. The breakfast was also very nice. The rooms, however, left a lot to be desired. Staff was helpful in moving us to a different room when the first one we received was not what we expected. Our friends also needed to move rooms because their air conditioner was leaking and the carpet at the foot of their bed was soaked. Housekeeping merely stuffed a towel under the unit. The doors that are supposed to separate the bedroom area from the living room area did not work in any of the rooms we stayed in. Hinges were broken or misaligned. No sheets were provided for the sleeper sofa and I had to go to the front desk to receive sheets and find that no blankets were available. People on our floor were smoking marijauna and we saw (and smelt) a gentleman also smoking marijauna in the parking lot. Not the hotel's fault exactly, but still not something we needed the kids to see. The pool was small but the kids enjoyed it. Drink and ice machine on our floor did not work and the only one working on the first floor ran out of ice. This hotel is average at best and in need of renovation before things so too far and turns into a poor hotel. We would not stay at this hotel again.

We checked into our hotel after a 600 mile road trip. We got to our room and checked out the bathroom. On the ceiling was a round stain about 12-14 inches across, grey mold staining to the outside edges and water dripping onto the floor. The toilet was dirty also. We complained and they moved us to another room with a better ceiling. The toilet bowl was not clean. They brought a roll-away bed to the room with sheets. The sheets were torn at the edges. Microwave door was chipped. Tops of tables looked "smeary" and not sparkling clean like you'd expect them to look. Even the plastic-coated brochure felt icky! What was going to be a 3 night stay ended up being a 1 night stay! I wouldn't have even stayed the one night except for the fact that we were so exhaused from the long drive. Do not stay at this hotel. The outside of the hotel/grounds looks very nice and maintained, however, the inside is a different story.

Quality Suites, Cordova, TN is a great value. They offer a great breakfast, and a managers reception in the afternoon. It seems they were recently renovated and did a great job of makeing this a comfortable and friendly place to stay. The staff if very friendly and knows the area (gives great directions). It is a clean, comfortable and quiet place to stay. Ladies ---- it is very near a great shopping area!! Lots of restaurants nearby. Also, you are allowed to take a small pet with you.

I stayed @ this hotel for a week & the staff was great! Very helpfull when I needed dirctions. Really enjoyed the flat screen tv in my room & took full advantage of the fitness center. I would have liked wi-fi in the room but I was told its coming soon.

I have been staying at this hotel for several years and have never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The full hot breakfast buffet is excellent and the happy hour (free draft beer) is a great way to end a long day at the office. My only draw back is the lack of wi fi in the rooms (they only have wi fi in the lobby), although the manager assures me the hotel will have wireless internet in the entire hotel within two weeks. I look forward to my next stay.
