“A find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2014

Not on the travelers' beaten track, but only 10 minutes off I-40, we were in Cookeville just overnight (traveling from NC to Memphis) & stumbled onto this wonderful place. Serious craft beers (bartender warned us on entry that they had no light beers - won us over from the start). World class burger (medium rare was just that), fries the French would be proud to call frites, warm & able service, locals at the bar. No TVs! Also a fine selection of single malt Scotch whiskies. Good enough that I'm going to be back, just for it. Sort of a Cheers South with better than pub food.

“Perfect place for a good drink and excellent food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2014 via mobile

Owned by a local couple with an idea of providing an atmosphere of sophistication and culture and will tell you the food is great, the drinks are awesome, the atmosphere is perfect! No loud music to talk over. Wonderful meeting place to enjoy the unique atmosphere of a small town gathering place. The servers are friendly and attentive. If the kitchen gets "backed up" , you are notified and not left wondering what happened. Bar menue but they have done it right!
