“Fine Dining and Superb Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2013

I took my best friend for her birthday luncheon on Saturday around 1:30, so most of the crowds had gone. Our friendly hostess, Ruth, seated us at a table with a white cloth, told us our waiter would be Gino, and that he would take good care of us. Handsome young Gino was very attentive, bringing our iced teas right away and giving us a few moments to consider the varied menu. I ordered the Panini with blue crab, which came with a veggie pasta, and my friend ordered the crawfish etoufee. Gino brought those in record time and was often by our table to refresh our tea and to inquire if we needed anything. The entrees were absolutely delicious and very filling, but we couldn't resist the upside down Pumpkin Pie, served warm, w/ice cream. Both of us agreed we had never tasted such a wonderful dessert. Upon leaving, we met the owner, who inquired about our lunch. We couldn't say enough wonderful things about the ambience, Gino, and the great food, plus we wanted the recipe for the pie. Turns out it is a cherished family recipe, and his wife makes their desserts every day. What a great team, and what an experience we enjoyed! I am happy to recommend this lovely restaurant to anyone who wants something a little bit different from the ordinary Southern small-town fare.

“A neat little place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

The food was delicious/great. The service was over-the-top-excellent. This place is really quaint, with a view of old-town square Collierville and the railroad depot. Nice friendly quiet atmosphere.

“This is my favorite date restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

This small home turned into Italian restaurant is one of my favorite places. I highly recommend the Southwest or Gorg pizzas paired with a glass of wine. The perfect evening. They now offer their pizzas to go (take and bake). The atmosphere is what really makes this place though.

“Delicious Appetizers to Dessert!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

Our little party of three enjoyed this little cafe very much. The toasted ravioli and MiMi's Chiken salad were the favorite dishes we tried, the desserts which we shared were the coconut cake and the chocolate lava cake with raspberry sauce & ice cream, both were exceptional. Great place to have lunch with the "girls" and we will be back!!!!!

“Always a cozy nice place for a lunch or dinner...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

Cafe Piazza is a favorite for meeting friends and family for special celebrations or to take a client for lunch. The food is fresh and always good. I am hooked on their Pear & Blue cheese Salad and their homemade tomato soup! YUM!
